반타이마사지 BanThai Masaje
Tucked along Chakrabongse Road in the historic Phra Nakhon district, this well-regarded massage studio sits within easy reach of Bangkok's riverside temples and old city landmarks, making it a natural stop for travellers exploring the area on foot. The studio has earned a strong following among both first-time visitors and those who return to Thailand regularly, with guests consistently noting that the Thai massage on offer feels genuinely authentic — incorporating traditional stretching and pressure techniques in a way that remains accessible even for newcomers to the practice. The atmosphere is frequently described as warm, clean, and unhurried, with attentive staff who go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Small gifts and snacks are offered as part of the experience, adding a hospitable touch that sets it apart from more transactional spa appointments. Individual therapists are praised by name in visitor reviews, which speaks to the personal level of care on offer. A 60-minute session is reported at 300 Thai baht, placing it among the more affordable options in the city without any apparent compromise on quality. Good to know: Opening hours and advance booking details are not listed online, so it is worth visiting in person or making direct contact before building the studio into a tight itinerary. Given its popularity, arriving earlier in the day is a sensible approach, particularly during busy tourist periods when time slots may fill quickly.

Visitor Reviews
It was an extraordinary experience taking a massage with Mem, super pro and extra involved. The whole place is surrounded by a great vibe, everything extra clean. And what can I say about the decoration of the place which seems taken from a Disney movie! They gave me a clean & hot Thai clothes and the plus of the welcome cold juice and the hot tea plus fruit and banana chips were the cherry of the cake! I highly recommend this awesome massage place! I’m going back to Bangkok in some days and don’t doubt about taking either 1 or massages per day! 🧚♀️
This was a very different experience from my first Thai massage a year ago. It was relaxing, the stretches were not painful and the masseuses are not noisy unlike from the other spas I've tried. The staffs will make sure that you will have a great time. There's also free tea and fruits after the massage session. And I was also given a free coin purse. Thank you so much! I will definitely go again whenever I am in Khaosan.
Great massage at this little place in Bangkok right near our hotel. Staff are very friendly. 60 min massage was only 300 TB which was great! If we had been here longer we would definitely have gone back. Little notes make it super cute too!

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
