반타이마사지 BanThai Masaje
Tucked along Chakrabongse Road in the historic Phra Nakhon district, this well-regarded massage studio has built a strong reputation among both first-time visitors and seasoned Thailand travellers. Its location near Bangkok's old city makes it a natural stop for those exploring the area's temples and riverside landmarks, offering a genuine opportunity to experience traditional Thai massage techniques in a welcoming, professionally run setting. Visitors consistently highlight the skill and attentiveness of individual therapists, with several reviewers specifically naming staff members by name — a sign of the personal, unhurried service that sets the studio apart. The space itself is noted for being exceptionally clean and thoughtfully decorated, with a relaxed, positive atmosphere throughout. Guests report receiving small gifts and snacks as part of the experience, adding a hospitable touch that goes beyond a standard massage appointment. Treatments are described as authentically Thai — incorporating stretching and pressure techniques — while remaining accessible even for those new to the practice. Pricing is very affordable by Bangkok standards, with a 60-minute session reported at 300 Thai baht. Good to know: Opening hours and advance booking details are not listed online, so it is advisable to visit in person or contact the studio directly before planning a session. Arriving early in the day is a sensible approach, particularly during busier tourist periods, as the studio's popularity means time slots may fill quickly.

Visitor Reviews
It was an extraordinary experience taking a massage with Mem, super pro and extra involved. The whole place is surrounded by a great vibe, everything extra clean. And what can I say about the decoration of the place which seems taken from a Disney movie! They gave me a clean & hot Thai clothes and the plus of the welcome cold juice and the hot tea plus fruit and banana chips were the cherry of the cake! I highly recommend this awesome massage place! I’m going back to Bangkok in some days and don’t doubt about taking either 1 or massages per day! 🧚♀️
This was a very different experience from my first Thai massage a year ago. It was relaxing, the stretches were not painful and the masseuses are not noisy unlike from the other spas I've tried. The staffs will make sure that you will have a great time. There's also free tea and fruits after the massage session. And I was also given a free coin purse. Thank you so much! I will definitely go again whenever I am in Khaosan.
Great massage at this little place in Bangkok right near our hotel. Staff are very friendly. 60 min massage was only 300 TB which was great! If we had been here longer we would definitely have gone back. Little notes make it super cute too!
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
