The Belong Boutique Hotel
Situated on Thanon Bangkok in the heart of Phuket Town, this boutique hotel offers a range of accommodation options including dormitory-style rooms, private rooms, and spacious duplex or mezzanine-style suites. Its central location places guests within easy walking distance of the old town market, local restaurants, and independent shops, making it a practical base for travellers who want to explore authentic Phuket rather than resort areas. Guests in the duplex and mezzanine rooms consistently highlight the generous space and comfortable beds, while the friendly and helpful staff receive frequent praise. The property includes practical amenities such as a laundry room and shared kitchen, which appeals to longer-stay travellers and those on a measured budget. Cleanliness standards in the dorm and shared bathrooms have been noted positively by multiple guests, though some visitors have reported issues with air conditioning noise and isolated cases of damp in certain rooms, so it is worth requesting a recently maintained room at check-in. Given that pricing and availability are managed through the hotel's Facebook page rather than standard booking directories, prospective guests should check there directly for current rates and room options before arriving. The dry season, running from November through February, offers the most comfortable weather for exploring Phuket Town on foot from this location. This property suits independent travellers, small groups of friends, and budget-conscious visitors who prioritise local access and a personal atmosphere over large resort facilities.

Visitor Reviews
We booked a duplex room and which is very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is very close to old town market and there are lots of restaurants and shops closeby to explore. The staffs are very friendly. They have kitchen, dryer room, washing machine service (very minimal charge) etc. Hence, place would be very convenient. If you are visiting Phuket, this is one of the hotels to look out for stay.
Absolutely love this place, spacious room, great comfy bed, we ordered the 3 person room, mezanine style. Friendly staff, happy to help us. Laundry room and kitchen also provided.
Stayed in a dorm with three other friends for the first week of Feb. Found the room to be so clean as well as the bathrooms. Beds are a big hard but that’s really the only downside. It was so clean! The only downside is the showers - they’re just very stuffy cause it’s all enclosed. But it was always super clean. First week of Feb is lunar new year - this is the PERFECT location, markets all around us but not outside, across from a 7/11 and loads of taxis around the corner. Staff were so lovely and kind. I really recommend this place. There didn’t seem to be a lot of guests, if there were they were quiet, so it’s a nice chill clean spot in the middle of Phuket town.
Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts
Book Shoulder Season
May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
