Visitor Reviews
Pretty cool little spot in Phuket Old Town. Walking distance from walking street and not hard to find with Google maps. It's a small alley of table stalls, maybe 5 stalls in all. But the surrounding area also has a number of amulet shops so between both you will have way more than enough choice. The market stall owners were all nice and obviously knowledgeable. I visited each first to see their goods and ended up getting one amulet from each to keep it fair lol. I was also able to get the amulets cased in a shop very close by and my kids picked a chain each for themselves. Average cost was about 250 bhat per amulet and the same again for a chain and case. Everyone enjoyed this experience and got something nice to bring back home and keep to remember thailand
Great little side alley with a good range of Buddhist & Thai amulets, paintings and other ornaments. Not as big of a selection as I read about but still worth the trip and convenient having a few of the locals speak decent English to explain different meanings of amulets etc. This is a little tricky to find head to this road and you’ll see dragon statues at the start of the alley.
Small little amulet stalls in an alley way. You can choose your amulet and they will patiently explain each amulet of its purpose/protection. Since I didn't speak Thai, I used Google translate to have the monk explain the benefits of each amulet to me. The monk blesses your amulet after your purchase as well. Nice little souvenir from phuket.

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
