BRIQ Bar Phuket
Tucked along Takuapa Road in the heart of Phuket Town, BRIQ Bar has built a strong following among both visitors and locals for its creative cocktail menu and genuinely relaxed atmosphere. The bar doubles as an event venue, making it a step above a typical neighbourhood watering hole, and the music policy spans reggaeton, afrobeats, rap, hip hop, and EDM — giving the evenings an energetic but easygoing feel. The cocktails are the clear draw here. Signature drinks like the Indigo Pearl, Jeed Jard, and Old Town Sour have earned repeat visits from guests, and the bar staff bring a personal, craft-focused approach to mixing. Light food is also available and comes well-reviewed. The crowd tends to be small and the vibe unhurried, which makes it a comfortable spot for a quiet drink as much as a fuller night out. Prices are described by visitors as reasonable and offering good value. Good to know: BRIQ Bar opens at 18:30 every night of the week and stays open until 02:00, so it works equally well as an early evening stop or a late-night destination. The Takuapa Road location sits within walkable distance of many Phuket Town accommodations and pairs well with dinner in the Old Town area beforehand. No booking information is available, so arriving earlier in the evening is a sensible approach if a quieter, more personal experience is preferred.

Visitor Reviews
The atmosphere is nice. The signature cocktails are surprisingly good. However, the service felt a bit awkward and uncomfortable — the waitress stood right next to our table while we were choosing our drinks, which was quite disturbing. Overall, the experience was enjoyable. 🍸
Good bar with nice music, calm atmosphere, and delicious custom cocktails. We tried 3 of them and all we liked: Indigo Pearl, Jeed Jard, Old Town Sour. Next day we are back again, again delicious cocktails. Highlight of the evening is Santa Cruise (on the photo)
Great atmosphere and very reasonable prices. The staff provide excellent service and are really helpful. The vibe is welcoming and comfortable, and you get good value for your money. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
