Phuket Graceland Resort & Spa

4.3(3,778 reviews)

Phuket Graceland Resort & Spa sits on Thaweewong Road in the heart of Patong, placing guests within easy reach of the beach, restaurants, and nightlife that make this stretch of Phuket's west coast one of its most popular destinations. The resort offers four sea-view pools, a full-service spa, a gym, multiple dining and bar options, and a bowling alley — an unusually broad range of facilities that suits both active travellers and those looking to unwind without venturing far from their room. Guests consistently highlight the quality of the staff across all areas of the property, from reception through to housekeeping and the restaurants. The buffet breakfast receives particular praise, and room upgrades have been a welcome surprise for some visitors marking special occasions. The resort's spacious pool areas and generous sun bed provision reflect a property designed for longer, leisure-focused stays rather than a quick overnight stop. Practically speaking, the resort is around an hour from Phuket International Airport, so travellers arriving late or with early departures should factor in transfer time. Room categories vary, and at least one recent guest noted confusion over the specifics of pool-view room locations, so it is worth confirming room details directly with the hotel at the time of booking rather than relying solely on online descriptions. The official website at phuketgraceland.com is the most reliable source for current rates and room type clarification.

Visitor Reviews

First time guests at Phuket Graceland and we had a fantastic time. It's about an hour from the airport. The location is brilliant as many other reviews have stated, with particular highlights being walking distance to Patong beach, restaurants and numerous laundry options, the closest of which will deliver your washed and ironed clothes back to reception! The pools are huge and well maintained, and yes, it is difficult but not impossible to get poolside seating. Plenty of delicious options at the breakfast buffet. There are a lot of negative reviews for the "Standard" rooms but honestly, we found them to be fine and the caveats (frosted windows which won't open, mainly) are disclosed upfront at the time of booking. Air-conditioning worked well. The rooms, while older, were spotlessly maintained. There can be a musty smell but it's negligible and passes quickly. The bathrooms were likewise very well maintained and everything worked. The muezzin is not intrusive at all, and the rooms are overall very quiet. All that said, of course the poolside rooms looked great. High occupancy rates meant we couldn't try them this time. The hotel WiFi is fine, including poolside - enough to stream to a tablet without interruption. Contrary to other reviews, every single staff member we encountered was unfailingly enthusiastic, helpful and professional, even when dealing with the full spectrum of human behaviour. Likewise, checking in and out was very fuss free. This is not the cheapest place to stay but very comparable to other hotels of similar size and amenity.

Stayed here and hands down, Graceland is the best hotel in Phuket. I’ve been travelling to Thailand for over 15 years and stayed in many places, but this resort truly stands out. The buffet breakfast will absolutely ruin you for all others. Every nationality is catered for, so take your time and explore. The multiple pools make you feel a little bit elite, and the facilities are next level. From the café with an incredible array of cakes, to the bowling alley, pool tables, day spa, and nail salon, there’s so much to enjoy while still feeling completely relaxed. It’s perfect for large family stays. You get space, comfort, and plenty of opportunities to actually spend quality time together and make real memories. I had an amazing experience tagging along when my brother booked the resort for his family of four. Step outside and you’re at the best end of the beach, the quiet end, with restaurants, pizza, and street food all around the hotel. Everything you need is right there. Honestly… I wish I was there right now.

Fabulous resort, with amazing staff! From reception, to the restaurants, cleaners, and servers, they all do an outstanding job.Loved everything about this place, especially my room upgrade, for my 50th Birthday! All food, drinks, were absolutely delicious, and delivered with a smile. Thank you Graceland Resort, for making myself and my friends feel so welcome. Highly recommend. Oh and the band in the front bar, at night, we're fantastic 😍

Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts

Book Shoulder Season

May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.

Compare OTAs and Direct Rates

Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.

Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive

Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
