Niranapa Boutique Resort (ณีรานภา)

4.7(869 reviews)

Situated on Thanon Kata in the Karon district of Phuket, this boutique resort stands out for its combination of contemporary design and genuinely attentive hospitality. Guests consistently highlight the freshness of the rooms and facilities, describing the property as aesthetically pleasing with a quietly upscale feel. The scale of the resort lends itself to a more personal experience, with staff frequently singled out by name in reviews for their warmth throughout the stay. Rooms are noted as clean, well-appointed, and effectively air-conditioned, with the property set back enough from the road to keep noise to a minimum. The surroundings are well-kept and visually appealing, contributing to an atmosphere that feels calm without being remote. Kata Beach, along with a solid range of restaurants, shops, and food markets, is within comfortable walking distance, making the location practical for guests who want easy access to the area without staying in a busier part of Phuket. The resort suits couples, solo travellers, and those looking for a quieter alternative to larger hotel properties in the region. For the most comfortable weather conditions, the period between November and February is generally best, with lower humidity and reduced rainfall. Advance booking is advisable during the peak December to January period, as well-reviewed boutique properties in this area tend to fill up quickly. Rates and availability can be checked directly through the resort website at niranapa.com.

I would give this hotel a 6 ⭐ if I could. I'm actually surprised this hotel is not getting at least a 9.1 on Agoda reviews! It was such a beautiful place, and the rooms and facilities are all so new. The room was extremely clean (I ran my fingers across the tiles and cabinets!) and the towels and linens were so fresh. The room we booked overlooks an open courtyard and it was nice to be able to see greenery and also the occasional people walking by. The beach is about 7 to 10 mins walk away - short walk considering there are many shops along the bustling streets. While the hotel is situated along the main street, the property is seated slightly deeper into a driveway so you don't get the noise from the roads at all. The staff were also really attentive and very nice - they helped us with an early check-in and gave us such clear instructions around the resort. They even gave us a bento box for our breakfast as we had an early flight and had to miss the breakfast buffet. There's actually no area where I feel the resort was lacking in. We had dinner at the restaurant and you're definitely in for a treat because it serves up excellent food. It was the most relaxing stay for us and we can't recommend it more :)

An amazing stay at the resort. Everything from checking in to checking out (thank you Tang) was warm kind and welcoming. We stayed for 6 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. the rooms were clean modern and very comfortable. Housekeeping did an amazing job every day. The bed is big spacious and comfortable. You get 4 bottles of water refilled everyday in the room. Breakfast at the hotel is fresh with strong variety - including local dishes. we didn’t use the pool - but looked very nice. centrally located to Kata Beach - they offer a shuttle or is an easy walk. There is a 7/11 just outside. we went to lots of local beaches - Kata Noi (10 min taxi), Kata (walked) and Noi Han (15 min taxi). amazing local places within easy walk and we recommend - Sugar by Sugar & Spice, Sugar & Spice, Kata on Fire Bar & Grill, Eightfold. on a weekend go to Naka Weekend Market / 30 mins by taxi! We also did a Muay Thai show - all organised through a what’s app number. highly recommend staying at Niranapa Boutique Resort!

Our stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The service was outstanding—attentive, kind, and always willing to go the extra mile. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, with stunning views and thoughtful details that made it feel luxurious yet cozy. The hotel facilities were excellent, especially the pool and common areas, which were peaceful and perfectly maintained. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of fresh Thai and international options. The location was ideal—convenient, safe, and close to everything we wanted to explore while still feeling like a relaxing retreat. Elina was great and help us a lot!

Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts

Book Shoulder Season

May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.

Compare OTAs and Direct Rates

Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.

Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive

Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
