Niranapa Boutique Resort

4.7(1,163 reviews)

Situated on Thanon Kata in the Karon district of Phuket, this boutique resort stands out for its combination of contemporary design and genuinely attentive hospitality. Guests consistently highlight the freshness of the rooms and facilities, describing the property as aesthetically pleasing with a quietly upscale feel. The scale of the resort lends itself to a more personal experience, with staff frequently singled out by name in reviews for their warmth throughout the stay.

Rooms are noted as clean, well-appointed, and effectively air-conditioned, with the property set back enough from the road to keep noise to a minimum. The surroundings are well-kept and visually appealing, contributing to an atmosphere that feels calm without being remote. Kata Beach, along with a solid range of restaurants, shops, and food markets, is within comfortable walking distance, making the location practical for guests who want easy access to the area without staying in a busier part of Phuket.

The resort suits couples, solo travellers, and those looking for a quieter alternative to larger hotel properties in the region. For the most comfortable weather conditions, the period between November and February is generally best, with lower humidity and reduced rainfall. Advance booking is advisable during the peak December to January period, as well-reviewed boutique properties in this area tend to fill up quickly. Rates and availability can be checked directly through the resort website at niranapa.com.

Reviews from Google

I would give this hotel a 6 ⭐ if I could. I'm actually surprised this hotel is not getting at least a 9.1 on Agoda reviews! It was such a beautiful place, and the rooms and facilities are all so new. The room was extremely clean (I ran my fingers across the tiles and cabinets!) and the towels and linens were so fresh. The room we booked overlooks an open courtyard and it was nice to be able to see greenery and also the occasional people walking by. The beach is about 7 to 10 mins walk away - short walk considering there are many shops along the bustling streets. While the hotel is situated along the main street, the property is seated slightly deeper into a driveway so you don't get the noise from the roads at all. The staff were also really attentive and very nice - they helped us with an early check-in and gave us such clear instructions around the resort. They even gave us a bento box for our breakfast as we had an early flight and had to miss the breakfast buffet. There's actually no area where I feel the resort was lacking in. We had dinner at the restaurant and you're definitely in for a treat because it serves up excellent food. It was the most relaxing stay for us and we can't recommend it more :)

Our stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The service was outstanding—attentive, kind, and always willing to go the extra mile. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, with stunning views and thoughtful details that made it feel luxurious yet cozy. The hotel facilities were excellent, especially the pool and common areas, which were peaceful and perfectly maintained. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of fresh Thai and international options. The location was ideal—convenient, safe, and close to everything we wanted to explore while still feeling like a relaxing retreat. Elina was great and help us a lot!

This hotel has a great look and is esthetically pleasing. It's a good location and easily walking distance to the beach and many shops and food markets. When we checked in we were welcomed and then informed of all of the rules and how we could get charged if anything was not followed correctly. It felt a little bit less welcoming the way it was presented and I thought very unnecessary to focus so much on what we will get billed for. The grounds were kept really clean and staff were friendly. The room was a nice size and looked out to the pool. It wasn't very private being on the ground floor. The pool was nice but slightly too warm, and had a dark ring around the water line which made me question how clean it was kept. On our third night we recieved a bill for a stain on our pillow case and a note to say they tried to remove the stain but couldn't. The fact was that they didn't try to remove the stain, which i can not confirm was not there already, and our bed sheets had not been changed so it was impossible to say they tried to wash it but couldn't. We had the housekeeping manager come in and we had to try to prove this. They changed the sheets while we were in the room and showed us the new sheets to inspect they were in fact clean. The first set shown had an old oil stain. It was very awkward and I felt unprofessional. Sheets can get dirty after a couple sleeps and normal stains and wear should not be billed to guests. In the end they did not charge us but there was actually nothing to charge for as there was no permanent stain. This experience did make us feel uncomfortable. The hotel was quiet even though it is in a busy area. They take a cash deposit that is only returnes after they double check your room when checking out. The breakfast that was included was just ok. None of the food was kept hot and they pre make all the eggs. People working in the breakfast area were not very friendly and we really did not have any kind of interaction while eating breakfast. In the end we made the best of our stay but I would probably not return to this hotel.
