Club Med Phuket

Club Med Phuket is the resort most people mean when they ask whether Thailand has a real all-inclusive. Everything runs on Club Med's model, so the price covers all-day dining at the buffet and à la carte restaurants, unlimited drinks including cocktails, wine, spirits and beer, snacks, Wi-Fi and a non-alcoholic minibar. Club Med describes its stretch of sand as the longest resort beachfront on Kata Beach, on Phuket's southwest coast.

The resort is built around families. Kids' clubs take children from 4 to 17 in age groups, with extended hours until 21:00, and there is baby care for under-4s. About 30 activities are included, from sports to the clubs and evening shows, and 13 more are sold on demand, among them scuba diving, spa treatments and cooking classes.
