Dinner in the Sky Phuket | Restaurant
Dinner in the Sky Phuket is a genuinely distinctive dining concept that seats guests on an elevated platform suspended 50 metres above ground, delivering unobstructed 360-degree views across Phuket's landscape and coastline. The theatrical format transforms a meal into a full event, with live chef performances, creative plating, and cocktail flights that are as visually striking as they are considered in flavour. It sits in the Karon area on Patak Road, offering a slightly removed setting from Phuket's busiest tourist zones while remaining accessible. Visitors can expect an upscale, fine dining atmosphere with attentive service throughout the experience. The format suits celebrations particularly well — birthdays, anniversaries, and group occasions are common here — and the combination of food quality, chef presentation, and aerial perspective tends to leave a strong impression. The venue operates daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, accommodating both daytime sittings with bright island views and evening sessions as the sun sets over the sea. Good to know: Seating capacity on the platform is inherently limited, so advance reservations are strongly recommended, especially during weekends and the peak tourist season between November and April. Check the official website at dinnerintheskyphuket.com for current menu options, session times, and booking availability. Those with a fear of heights should factor in the suspended setting before booking, as the open-air elevation is central to the entire experience.

Visitor Reviews
Yesterday I visited Dinner in the Sky Phuket, a unique dining experience 50 meters above the ground with a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view over Phuket and the sea. The atmosphere is incredible. The charismatic chef truly creates a festive and vibrant energy, making the experience feel special from the very beginning. His entire team, including the DJ and the chef’s assistants, make the evening light, fun, and genuinely unforgettable. You can really feel the teamwork and passion behind the experience. The food was delicious and high quality. I especially loved the salad and the seafood option, but there is also a great meat selection. The cocktails and alcoholic drinks are excellent, with plenty of choices. I highly recommend booking the sunset session, the view during sunset is magical, and the golden light makes the entire experience even more romantic. Perfect place to surprise your partner or celebrate a special occasion. Definitely worth it!
Hands down the best dining experience I’ve ever had in Phuket! Worth every single penny. The food was incredible, the view was absolutely stunning, and the experience itself was unforgettable. The dining area rotates, so you don’t have to worry about missing any view—you get to see everything. And the staff? Honestly, they deserve all the praise (and all my money 😆). They were professional, fun, and full of energy, making everyone feel relaxed and excited. We were laughing, dancing, and enjoying amazing food the entire time—even while strapped into our seats! 🤣 Huge kudos to the brilliant minds behind this concept and to the wonderful team who brought it to life. This is a must-try experience in Phuket—no question.
I’ve dined at Dinner in the Sky for the third time, and I’m impressed every single time. The service is consistently excellent—staff are polite and attentive throughout the entire experience. The chef is very entertaining, creating a fun and friendly atmosphere that makes the meal truly enjoyable. Most importantly, the safety measures are excellent, with clear explanations and attentive supervision, which made me feel confident and at ease at all times. Overall, the food, the view, and the service are all well worth it. A memorable experience that I would definitely return to again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
