Tucked along Phangnga Road in the historic heart of Old Phuket Town, this well-regarded budget hostel offers a welcoming base for travellers looking to explore the city's Sino-Portuguese architecture, local markets, and quieter side streets — all within easy walking distance. The hostel earns consistent praise for its cleanliness, friendly atmosphere, and attentive ownership, with a resident cat that has become something of a local celebrity among guests. Accommodation options include dormitory-style rooms and private rooms, including a family room well-suited to small groups or families travelling together. Private rooms come with an en-suite bathroom, while rooms are equipped with practical amenities such as a kettle, fridge, and complimentary drinking water. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout, and an on-site cafe adds to the convenience. The overall vibe is relaxed and sociable without being rowdy, making it a solid choice for independent travellers and couples alike. Reception and common areas are open daily from 07:00 to 23:00, so travellers with late arrivals should plan ahead by contacting the hostel directly. Given its central Old Town location, this hostel is particularly well-placed for those wanting to explore Phuket beyond the beach resort strip. Booking in advance is recommended, especially during peak season between November and April when demand across Phuket accommodation rises significantly.

Visitor Reviews
The hostel is quite nice. We stayed in a three-bed-room for 4 nights and were very satisfied. The room was big, offered things like a water cooker, a fridge and free water. Beds were not the most comfortable, but we still slept quite good. Bathroom was big and modern and offered plenty of mirrors. The owner was very friendly an the hostel is located very central in Phuket.
3 of us stayed in the private room and it was perfect, really clean and with a private bathroom which was clean too. Everyone was really friendly and a great cat! Super cheap for such a great place and a good location nice and quiet and a short walk into the town, opposite a supermarket!
Beautiful, comfy and clean hostel in the heart of Old Phuket town ! Short walk to beautiful buildings and markets not over saturated by tourists and the cutest fat cat ! Highly recommend had a great stay here, beds are super comfy and the bathroom was amazing !

Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts
Book Shoulder Season
May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
