Visitor Reviews
The lemon tea with honey is amazing, especially for just 35 baht a must try. Most of the food here is reasonably priced and worth it. There’s a large public area with live band music, which creates a great atmosphere, plus plenty of souvenir shops to walk around and explore. Compared to other places, I think this spot is definitely worth visiting. It truly feels like a real night market, not a tourist trap.
Chillva Night Market is a vibrant and lively place to visit in Phuket. It offers a great variety of street food, snacks, drinks, and unique local items at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is fun and colorful, with container-style shops and live music adding to the experience. A great spot to enjoy local food, walk around, and experience Phuket’s night market culture. Definitely worth a visit in the evening.
Chillva Market was such a nice experience! The atmosphere is really cool and lively. There are so many handmade products, souvenirs, and unique little shops perfect for walking around and finding something special. The food options were very interesting and exotic, but we personally didn’t risk trying them. Overall, a great place to visit for the vibe and shopping. Highly recommend!

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
