Blue Palm Kata Resort
Compare prices
Tucked into the Kata area of Phuket, Blue Palm Kata Resort offers bungalow-style accommodation that gives guests a sense of privacy and comfort uncommon in standard hotel rooms. The property sits within reach of Kata Beach, with a pool on-site and good Wi-fi, making it a practical base for those who want a quieter coastal experience away from the busier stretches of Patong. Guests consistently highlight the warmth and attentiveness of the staff as a standout feature of the stay.
The resort suits travellers looking for a relaxed retreat with local character rather than a large hotel experience. Nearby streets offer plenty of local restaurants and easy access to the activities and shops typical of the Kata and Karon stretch of Phuket's southern coast. Rooms are described as comfortable and cleaned daily, though visitors should note that breakfast is not included in the standard rate, and some guests feel the pricing reflects a mid-range rather than budget property.

Reviews from Google
Blue palm kata is a very deluxe and relaxing hotel, that I would recommend to people going to Kata beach. Rooms: Guests stay in rooms that serve as bungalows, which gives a sense of privacy and comfort. The rooms are big with a refreshing air con and big bed. The bathroom has two light switches, one being more bright than the other, serving as a “night light”. Service: Service is great with a very friendly staff. The cleaning ladies are around for the day, and always smile :) The rooms also get cleaned thoroughly when you want it to be cleaned, and 2 water bottles are provided after each cleaning. Front desc service is always available and very helpful & kind. There is also a very sweet dog that roamed the hotel, who likes to steal flip-flops, so if you’re not a dog person or allergic, keep that in mind. The dog can be avoided though. Location The rooms are located behind the staff building, which cuts of noise from the street, which is nice. The street is quiet and has great restaurants that don’t exceed normal prices. There is a gym 20-30 meters away. There are multiple massage shops on the street, and also laundry shops. 7/11 is right infront of the hotel. The hotel is located around 15-20 minutes (walking) from the beach, due to a bigger hotel blocking the way. The path to the beach is very easy to follow. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially because of its pricing - you get a very comfortable stay with everything you need, for a good price.
A great price for a bungalow that is very close to Kata beach. Great rooms, nice pool, good wifi. Lots of local restaurants and the famous karaoke place Poets. They even got me my room at 1230 pm.
Hotel is really "Okay", it is fairly budget friendly, a bit far from the nearest beach even though on maps it looks close. They cleaned every day, breaksfast was not great at all. Good concept but they need to improve on some things to get 5 stars
