Blu Monkey Boutique Phuket Town
Blu Monkey Boutique Phuket Town is a small, characterful lodging situated on Phangnga Road in the heart of Phuket Town, placing guests within easy reach of the city's old town heritage streets, local markets, and the old Phuket bus terminal. The property occupies the upper floors above Origami Café, giving it a quiet, tucked-away feel despite its central location. Rooms are praised by guests for their exceptionally comfortable beds and well-appointed bathrooms, which include both a shower and a bathtub. Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served at the café below, adding a relaxed, neighbourhood feel to the stay. The décor leans toward a clean, minimal aesthetic that suits the boutique format well. As a bed-and-breakfast style property, it offers a more intimate experience than a large resort, and prospective guests should set expectations accordingly in terms of staffing levels and on-site amenities. There are a few practical points worth noting before booking. The entrance is not directly visible from Phangnga Road — it is accessed from the rear of the main building, so first-time arrivals should look for signage at the back. There is no elevator, meaning luggage must be carried upstairs. Evening reception coverage can be limited, so guests with late arrivals are advised to contact the property in advance to arrange check-in. Confirming arrival time directly with the hotel is strongly recommended.

Visitor Reviews
The location on google map was wrongly mapped for this hotel. It is located upstairs of origami cafe. The entrance to the hotel/ cafe is from the back of the main road. Level 1/ ground floor is the small origami cafe that served the best Instagram breakfast. Level 2-4 are the rooms for Blu monkey boutique hotel Phuket town. We booked the twin bedded room n it come w a toilet (standing shower). The room look into a bricked up backyard/ balcony (good for handing washing) n it has a ceiling fan. It would be good if the hotel could provide something to hang our washing. The mouldy drainage smell constantly lingered in the room. It could be the mosquitoes season now n there are always some in the room. The thin curtains in the room are poorly installed n it does not fully blocked out the light from the balcony. There are no fan in the room. The water temperature n pressure was challenging during our 5days stay. The housekeeper had done a good job as the toilet was clean. Loved the common area on level 2-4 that are spacious n was beautifully done up for Instagram. There are fridge on level 3-4 where u can keep your personal chilled foods/ drinks. The cafe n reception operates between 8am to 5pm daily n the guest will be provided w the password to the main door n metal door on level 2. There are massage spa, mani & pedi spa, 7 eleven, foodie stall near the hotel. It was 9mins walk to the Sunday walking market.
Stayed for 3 nights and we had a great stay. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the bathroom is big ( with both shower and bathtub) . The breakfast was included in room rate and it was provided by origami cafe ( which is a specialty coffee chain here in thailand ) and was good. The staff is friendly and there is plenty of space in the common area if you want to chill or work. There are board games and free tea and coffee in each floor. The location is great if you are visiting Phuket old town as you can go there by a short walk.
My wife and I loved our experience here. Its a boutique hotel so dont expect the same level of service a Resort has. It was very cute. The bed was the most comfortable bed I slept in during my trip to thailand. And the cafe downstairs had amazing breakfast food. - shower was a little awkward and it took a while for hot water to get to the room but eveeything else was amazing.
