TWIST Rooftop Restaurant & Bar
Perched on the 19th floor of the Royal Phuket City Hotel on Phangnga Road in central Phuket, TWIST offers a rooftop dining and bar experience above the city's rooftops. The elevated setting draws both residents and visitors seeking evening cocktails and a full restaurant menu away from the bustle of street level, with the nighttime cityscape serving as a natural backdrop once the sun goes down. The venue is open daily from 5 PM to midnight, making it suited to sundowners, dinner, or late-evening drinks. Regulars praise the food and cocktail quality alongside the attentive and well-trained service, with the night view drawing particular appreciation. The open rooftop position means weather can affect visibility, so clear evenings offer the most rewarding experience, particularly around sunset when the sky over Phuket adds to the atmosphere. Prices are considered reasonable by visitors given the location and setting. A practical note worth keeping in mind: the restaurant does host special events on occasions such as New Year's Eve, and conditions and pricing on those nights differ significantly from a standard visit. It is worth checking the website at twistphuket.com or contacting the venue directly before attending any advertised event to confirm exactly what is included. For a standard evening visit, arriving around 5 PM to 6 PM allows guests to settle in before full darkness and choose seating comfortably. The central Phangnga Road address is straightforward to reach by taxi or tuk-tuk from most parts of Phuket. Smart casual dress fits the setting well.

Visitor Reviews
I lived in Phuket around 6 years now and tried a lot of restaurants. This one is one of the best. Great food and cocktails. The view is amazing. The staff is super friendly, easy to find also when you need service. Not often I feel wow over a restaurant visit, but this is one of that pearls and a must visit if you stay around Phuket town or just want to explore old town.
Staff are well trained and fully equipped for anything you need, food was amazing, lift up to the rooftop. Immediately welcomed and fretted to our table. View is incredible. (Especially at night) Staff are auper polite and service was great. Highly recommend.
food and service was really good and music was nice. only thing that was a little disappointing was the view bc it was super cloudy and raining but thats not the restaurants fault lol

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
