P168 Hostel

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely recommended! Top cleanliness throughout the hostel and a great location right in the heart of Chaweng. The capsules are more than sufficient, very comfortable, and offer a surprising amount of privacy. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and always in a good mood – you feel welcome right away. I originally planned to stay for just one week but ended up extending my stay by two more weeks – and maybe I’ll extend again 😉 The beach is only a few meters away, and the rooftop terrace is perfect for chilling, relaxing, and meeting people. I would definitely stay here again!

Bert nice hotel. Daily cleand and extremely welcoming personal. We got a spacious room on the 3rd floor. It’s next to the beach and a good restaurant (crystal resturant) that’s like 60thb for a meal. Very happy overall

Our stay at P168 Hostel was overall pleasant, mainly due to its great location and the many common areas available for working and relaxing. That said, there were a few issues with housekeeping and organization. When we checked in, the floors were quite sandy and hadn’t been cleaned. I informed the staff that we were heading out and asked if the room could be cleaned while we were gone, but when we returned that evening, the floors were unchanged. I ended up borrowing a broom and cleaning the room myself. On another day, housekeeping was missed entirely, and later they knocked to clean at around 4 p.m., after we had already returned from the beach. At checkout, we were also charged for a water glass that was supposedly missing, even though it was never provided. From the start, the room had two coffee cups but only one water glass, which we didn’t think needed to be reported. I had simply used the glass to clean my retainer. Being charged for an item that was never supplied was disappointing. I also noticed that every guest should remove their shoes at the entrance but the staff don’t reinforce that rule since I saw 3 different people going upstairs with their shoes on making the floors dirty and then your feet even dirtier when putting back on your shoes. Overall, the hostel has good potential and a nice atmosphere, but improved housekeeping consistency and clearer inventory checks would greatly enhance the guest experience.
