Compare prices
Perched on a hillside along a private stretch of Koh Samui's northeastern coast, this luxury resort is made up of individual villas, each with its own private infinity pool and sweeping views across the Gulf of Thailand. The natural setting is generous and unhurried, with a sense of space and calm that sets it apart from more densely built beachfront properties. It operates as both a resort retreat and a wedding and event venue, making it a popular choice for milestone stays as well as longer escapes. Guests can expect attentive, personalised service that frequent visitors describe as genuinely warm rather than purely formal. On-site activities include cooking classes, art classes, and sound bath sessions, and the resort's spa and dining options allow guests to remain comfortably within the property for the duration of their stay. Villas are well-appointed and designed to feel private and residential rather than hotel-like. Good to know: dining at the resort's restaurants comes at a premium price point, and some visitors have noted that menu availability can be limited on certain evenings. Those planning a special dinner are advised to confirm menu options and availability in advance, either at booking or upon arrival. Given the resort's popularity and relatively small number of villas, booking well ahead is recommended, particularly during the high season between December and April.

Visitor Reviews
We traveled across the globe to stay here, expecting something special, but what we experienced was truly extraordinary. From the moment we arrived and were surprised with a villa upgrade and beautiful “Happy Anniversary” decorations, we knew this stay would be different. What we did not expect was how deeply personal and heartfelt the hospitality would feel. For seven straight days, not a single thing went wrong. Every department, housekeeping, concierge, guest experience, pool team, dining, transportation, operated seamlessly. The service was intuitive and effortless. The team learned our preferences quickly and personalized our stay in ways that felt thoughtful rather than scripted. The attention to detail was remarkable. When they noticed the books we were reading, they left us leather bookmarks. When they saw our tangle of electronic cords, they surprised us with leather cord organizers. On occasion, they even folded our clothes. After learning we were inspired to visit because of The White Lotus, Gift and Bee offered us a private tour of filming locations around the resort, such a thoughtful and fun surprise. Staying a full week allowed us to truly immerse ourselves in many of the resort’s special experiences, a Lunar New Year beach dinner with a fire show, private villa dinners, cultural activities, and a couples’ photoshoot. They even adjusted certain activities around our schedule so we would not miss out, a level of flexibility that meant so much. Dining was exceptional throughout the stay...Michelin level at each restaurant. Chef Deepak went out of his way to create special Indian breakfast dishes after learning about my love for the cuisine, and spent time connecting with us at our table. That personal touch elevated an already world class experience. One evening, I injured my toe at the pool, and within moments the entire team rushed to help. They stopped the bleeding, cared for me attentively, and even kept us laughing during the process. I did not feel like a guest, I felt like family. I have never teared up leaving a hotel until this one. Saying goodbye truly felt like leaving home. The property is breathtaking, but it is the people who make it unforgettable. Without question, this was the best experience of all our travels. The journey to get here was long, but we would do it again in a heartbeat. The entire team deserves the highest recognition possible for the flawless, heartfelt hospitality they deliver every single day. P.S. Thank you to Juree for the beautiful hand painted card of us paddle boarding.
For the second time in paradise, this time for a longer stay on the island at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui. What feels different? It truly feels like coming home. Everything was exactly as we remembered, if not even better. The beautiful villas, the excellent food, the breathtaking surroundings, and above all the exceptionally well-trained staff make this place truly special. The range of activities is fantastic and very well organized. The chat service via the app is efficient, responsive, and extremely convenient. There were only a few minor issues: the air conditioning was a bit too loud at night, the fan had to be repaired twice, and with a few special requests it took two or three attempts. However, considering how smoothly everything else runs and how incredibly friendly the entire team is, these small inconveniences quickly fade into the background. One personal downside: there are quite a lot of mosquitoes. I suffered a little. 😅 I have stayed at many other properties of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, as well as renowned luxury resorts such as Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Rosewood Hotel Group, and most recently Atlantis The Royal. But nowhere in the world have I experienced massages as exceptional as here at Four Seasons Koh Samui. Every single therapist is highly skilled, truly outstanding. I will miss this place. And I will definitely be back. 💘💘💘
We stayed at Four Seasons Koh Samui and appreciated it with the eyes of people who have seen a fair number of resorts. The setting is beautiful and calm, with generous views and a sense of space that is hard to find on the island. The location works well for anyone who wants distance from the busy areas. The challenge is the steep terrain, which makes walking around unrealistic, so we relied on buggies to go anywhere. They were efficient, yet it limited the simple freedom of moving on foot. What truly set the resort apart was the staff. From housekeeping to the restaurants and especially the spa team, everyone showed natural kindness and attention without ceremony. The therapists at the spa were skilled and warm, and each visit felt personal rather than routine. We have stayed in many places, but here the people shaped the experience more than the design or the view, and that is why Four Seasons Koh Samui stayed with us.

Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts
Book Shoulder Season
May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
