Nantra Chaweng Beach Hotel
Compare prices
Nantra Chaweng Beach Hotel sits in the heart of Chaweng, Koh Samui's most popular beach strip, placing guests within easy walking distance of the beach, local shops, and a wide range of restaurants. The hotel offers streamlined, functional rooms alongside an outdoor pool, a furnished terrace, and complimentary breakfast — a practical combination for travellers looking for a convenient base rather than a luxury retreat. Rooms are described by guests as simple and compact, so those expecting spacious accommodation or scenic views may want to adjust expectations accordingly. The pool is on the small side. That said, several guests highlight the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the rooms as genuine positives, and the central location is consistently praised as one of the hotel's strongest assets. Good to know: The hotel's position near Chaweng's busy market means noise can be a factor, particularly in the evenings, so light sleepers may want to request a quieter room or bring earplugs. Given that some reviewers have reported issues with reservation cancellations, it is worth confirming your booking directly with the hotel closer to your arrival date and keeping a record of your confirmation details. The hotel operates around the clock, making it accessible for late arrivals.

Visitor Reviews
Nantra I had a very good stay at Nantra Chaweng Beach Hotel. The location is excellent – right in the center, just a short walk to the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The room was simple but clean and air-conditioned, which was more than enough considering the affordable price. What I especially appreciated was the helpfulness of the staff – I had a late arrival due to travel delays, but they accommodated me without any issues and made sure my room was ready even in the evening. Communication was smooth and stress-free. If you’re looking for budget-friendly accommodation in a great location and don’t need luxury, Nantra is a solid choice. I’d happily come back again.
I really enjoyed my stay there. The staff was nice and the cleaning girls really did a great job. Location to the beach is perfect. Only the noise from the market was sometimes a bit too much. Would be more perfect if there is a curtain in the shower. All in all a really nice place to stay.
Nice place very nice people, small room not much place to move no view the pool is very very tiny. but it is close to the chabat house in a very good price

Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
