Visitor Reviews
Honestly, my friend and I had a good experience at this hostel. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a smile by a young receptionist and everything was shown and explained to us. The room was a bit dark and there was both a toilet and a shower in the room but I personally preferred to use the shared ones to avoid making too much mess in the room (and the shared bathrooms were always empty so there was more privacy). We were also able to rent bicycles and go visit the temples and museums further away from the center. The owner and the gentleman with the earring who works at the reception were always very helpful and always recommended places to visit and markets to eat (even when we didn't ask). The breakfast is a bit poor. Maybe some more fruit would make the guests happier. The only "negative" thing is that the hostel is a bit older than what you see in the photos and because of the garden, be careful not to bring food into the room otherwise you will be invaded by ants.
I think it’s run by a family, if not it gives that energy anyways, they go out of their way to help you, super sweet and nice. Cannot complain about anything. It even has free breakfast, I also rented a motorbike from them.
Nice room, comfortable beds. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants, shops etc in walking distance and easy to book tours. Breakfast very basic. Shower was not great - barely any pressure and hot water lasted only a few minutes.
