Krabi Boat Hire
Operating out of Krabi, this boat hire and tour agency offers a range of on-water experiences across one of Thailand's most scenic coastal regions. Services span private speedboat tours to destinations including Phi Phi and Hong Island, snorkelling excursions, sunset plankton-watching trips, and point-to-point transfers connecting Krabi with Phuket, Koh Lanta, and surrounding islands. The operator handles group bookings with flexibility, accommodating last-minute changes and catering to families and larger parties alike. Visitors who book private tours can expect hotel pickup, personalised itineraries, and guides who tend to steer away from the more crowded tourist spots. The barbecue-and-snorkelling afternoon format, which combines island hopping with a meal and an after-dark plankton viewing, has been a standout for many travellers. Private inter-island transfers are noted as reliably punctual and competitively priced compared to other operators in the area. As with any boat tour operator, experiences can vary depending on the itinerary chosen, so it is worth confirming specific stops and timings before booking to avoid any misunderstanding about what is included. Reaching out directly to clarify the route — particularly for popular stops like Monkey Bay — is advisable. No website is currently listed, so bookings are best arranged through direct contact or via your accommodation.

Visitor Reviews
We booked the afternoon with a guide and speedboat for going to different islands, snorkeling, barbecue and see plankton after sunset and everything was just terrific. We got a hotel pick up with a taxi and our guide who we got to know on the way to the pier, then we met the boat crew and left for the first destination. We had the boat for ourselves, a group of 4 people, we have enjoyed every bit of the snorkeling spots. The guide was super helpful and friendly, so was the boat crew. We got to great spots with less tourists and many more things to see, and the food, even though served at the same place as everyone else, was really good and tasty. I would recommend this tour without any hesitation and would like to thank again the entire team!
We had two private Transfers from Phuket to Krabi and from Krabi to Koh Lanta by speedboat. If you looking for a reliable, punctual, well organized operator this is the one. And they are even cheaper than the others! Their boat ist fast, has a good Captain and a nice Crew. But it is not the newest. But everything is working fine. They are clever: had a Marina near the Airport in Phuket ( saves you nearly an hour Traffic jam), Organized the Transfers from the Airport. Await you personally at the Airport. We we're completely satisfied! We wanted to get from A to B, and from B to C in the shortest time possible. They did it in a perfect way! And they contact you days before arrival. Perfect!
My family & me had a great experience with Krabi Boat Hire. I booked a Hong Island tour for 8 adults and 2 children. It was easy to make arrangements and they are flexible with any last minute changes. Throughout the trip, they made sure everyone had a good. Would definitely use their services again whenever we’re back in Krabi.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
