Siphraya Tour&Travel
Based in the historic Samphanthawong district near Charoen Krung Road, this tour and travel agency specialises in private long-tail boat experiences along Bangkok's rivers and canal networks. Its riverside location places it naturally within reach of the old city's waterways, making it a practical starting point for exploring Bangkok from the water. The operator also runs day excursions to destinations such as the floating market, combined with visits to nearby cultural sites. Visitors consistently highlight the friendliness and responsiveness of both the counter staff and boat operators, with the booking process described as smooth and straightforward. Credit card payment is accepted, which is a welcome convenience. Private long-tail boat tours run approximately one hour and forty minutes, with the last departure at 5:30pm, and are priced at around 3,000 THB — a useful benchmark for budgeting. The format suits families, couples, and first-time visitors to Bangkok alike, with several reviewers noting that spotting landmarks from the water helps orient further exploration of the city on foot. Good to know: Specific opening hours are not listed online, so it is worth contacting the operator directly before visiting, as the 5:30pm last departure time is a firm constraint for afternoon visitors. The Charoen Krung area is well connected by river ferry, making the location accessible without needing a taxi or tuk-tuk. Arriving with a rough idea of your group size and preferred tour type will help staff tailor the right option for you.

Visitor Reviews
We had a wonderful experience on this private boat tour! The organizer was very easy to talk to and extremely responsive, which made the whole booking process smooth and stress-free. My family truly enjoyed the trip, and the boat driver was very kind and accommodating throughout the journey. Everything was well organized, relaxing, and enjoyable. We had a great time and will definitely recommend this tour to others. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience! 😊
We made two excursions with this company and everything went very well. First, the long tail boat sightseeing in the canals of old Bangkok. Next day we took the Floating market tour including a visit to the Railway market. We loved everything! The transport in a comfortable taxi with a very kind and nice Taxidriver.
A fantastic private long tail boat trip on the river and through the canals. Super friendly and helpful staff at the counter and driving the boat! Easy to connect to and to book, payment by credit card possible. Highly recommended!

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
