MEGA Harborland ICONSIAM
Situated within the upscale ICONSIAM shopping complex on Charoen Nakhon Road beside the Chao Phraya River, MEGA Harborland is a large-scale indoor playground and amusement centre catering primarily to children and families. Its riverside mall location makes it a practical refuge from Bangkok's heat, combining play facilities with easy access to the broader dining and retail options that ICONSIAM offers. Visitors can expect a sizeable, well-maintained play environment with multiple distinct zones. The space is noted for its cleanliness and attentive staff, and it draws both local families and tourists. However, the venue is genuinely large, which some families with younger children find overwhelming rather than enjoyable. The atmosphere leans toward commercial, and the scale suits older or more active children better than toddlers. Good to know: the pricing structure has frustrated some visitors — the facility is divided into separate play areas, each with its own admission charge, and combined access comes at a notably higher cost. Purchasing anti-slip socks on-site is mandatory regardless of what footwear guests bring. It is worth reviewing the current ticketing options carefully before arrival to avoid surprises at the counter. ICONSIAM is accessible by the BTS Skytrain at Charoen Nakhon station or by the free ICONSIAM shuttle boat running from Sathorn/Central Pier, making it straightforward to reach from most parts of central Bangkok.

Visitor Reviews
Mega HarborLand at ICONSIAM is an absolute dream for kids — and a lifesaver for parents on a hot Bangkok day. Set inside one of the city’s most luxurious shopping malls, this huge indoor playground takes fun to the next level, with slides, climbing zones, trampolines, and obstacle courses that kept our kids entertained for hours. Everything is spotless, safe, and impressively well-staffed. There are areas suited for all ages — from toddler zones to high-energy play spaces — and plenty of seating for parents to relax and watch. The air-conditioning alone feels like a treat after a morning of sightseeing! This location also has the jump zone - a trampoline world for kids of all ages! My kids were especially excited to try out the trampolines this time as we didn't do it on our last visit. What makes this one extra special is its setting. Step outside afterward and you’re right on ICONSIAM’s riverside promenade — perfect for grabbing food, watching the light show, or exploring SookSiam downstairs. If you’re visiting Bangkok with kids, Mega HarborLand ICONSIAM is easily one of the best indoor play areas in the city — fun, air-conditioned, and full of smiles.
We recently visited mega HarborLand at ICONSIAM, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! We were impressed by how spotlessly clean and well-maintained the entire play area was. The staff takes hygiene very seriously, ensuring that all play equipment is regularly sanitized. The floors, slides, and play structures were all immaculately clean, giving parents peace of mind while letting their little ones explore and have fun. Beyond cleanliness, the variety of play zones was incredible—offering exciting slides, climbing structures, trampolines, and interactive play areas that kept our child entertained for hours. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended especially on the days when the PM dust level is too high. We’ll definitely be back!
I got mixed feelings about it. It’s obviously a money making machine and you need to buy their antislip socks even if you brought your own.. It’s also huge - too big for my taste and for a 4 year old. There were many slides he was not allowed to go on due to his signs but since he can’t read the signs yet he was told off a few times which he didn’t enjoy.. would be better if it would be sectioned off. As parents you can’t follow them everywhere and it’s easy to loose them.. What we both really enjoyed was the kitchen, garage and hair saloon! Would be great to have some comfy chairs there for parents to sit while kids play there.
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
