Singha Park Chiang Rai
Singha Park is a sprawling agricultural attraction set across roughly 30,000 rai of farmland in Chiang Rai, owned by the Singha Corporation. The park features working tea plantations, orchards, and open landscapes that offer a refreshing contrast to the city's temples and markets. It is well-organised and spacious, making it a popular choice for travellers looking to combine light activity with relaxed countryside scenery. Visitors can explore the grounds in several ways: renting a bicycle, hiring a two-seater golf cart, or joining the park's own tourist transport service. Golf carts cost around 600 THB for two hours, with a 50 THB per person entry fee on top, while bicycles run approximately 200 THB for an hour and a half. The park also includes a petting zoo and walking trails, making it a reasonable option for families. Given the size of the park, most visitors find that two hours feels tight, so planning the route in advance helps make the most of the available time. The park is open daily from 08:30 to 17:00, which means an early arrival is advisable to avoid rushing, particularly for those renting transport with a time limit. Singha Park is located in Tambon Mae Kon, a short drive from central Chiang Rai, so visitors will need private transport or a taxi to get there. The official website at singhapark.com provides updated details on available activities and any seasonal events hosted on the grounds.

Visitor Reviews
Amazing experience. No entry fee although several options to get around. We opted for a bicycle at 200 baht for an hour and a half. For how big the park is their definitely shouldn't be a time limit. Other than this I highly recommend, lots of animals in the zoo you can feed for 50 baht, and gorgeous landscapes.
I’ve visited Singha Park and can definitely recommend it, especially if you want a mix of nature, light activity, and relaxing views in Chiang Rai. The area is very spacious and well organized, so it never feels too cramped even when there are other visitors. What makes it special is the variety: wide green landscapes, tea plantations, flower gardens (seasonal), small lakes, and multiple viewpoints that are great for photos. It’s also a good place for different travel styles. You can keep it simple with a calm walk and café stop, or spend more time exploring by bike and moving between zones. Families, couples, and solo travelers can all enjoy it because the atmosphere is relaxed and easy-going. There are food and drink options inside the park, so it’s comfortable to stay for several hours without needing to leave. In my experience, Singha Park works very well as a half-day stop, especially if you combine it with nearby attractions. The scenery is beautiful, the grounds are clean, and the overall setup feels tourist-friendly without losing the natural charm. If you’re in Chiang Rai, it’s definitely more than just a quick photo stop—it’s a place where you can actually slow down and enjoy the surroundings.
We visited the park in November and rented a 2-seater golf cart, which cost 600 THB, plus an entrance fee of 50 THB per person. So the total for two people was 700 THB. The golf cart was convenient for exploring the large area at our own pace. They also offer other transport options like a guided tour bus (150 THB per person), electric bicycles, and larger golf carts that seat 4 or 6 people, ideal for families or groups. During our visit, the flowers were not in full bloom, possibly due to the season (November), so some areas looked a bit dry or sparse. However, the overall landscape was still well-maintained and pleasant for a relaxed ride. The park also includes a small zoo, which kids would likely enjoy, and an activity center with games and attractions for families. It’s a nice spot to spend a few quiet hours away from the city with nature and light recreation. If you plan to visit, going during peak bloom season may offer a more vibrant experience. Still, it was worth the visit, and the golf cart made the trip comfortable and enjoyable.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
