Casa Boho Phuket
Perched on a hill above Kamala Beach, this bohemian-styled restaurant has carved out a distinctive niche in Phuket's dining scene by specialising in Latin cuisine — a rarity in Southeast Asia. The elevated setting delivers panoramic ocean views that draw visitors in, while the food and service are what keep them talking. Standout dishes from visitor accounts include ceviche, pescado tacos, Arroz con Mariscos, and Wagyu beef, with reviewers consistently noting the quality holds up against Latin restaurants anywhere in the world. The atmosphere is relaxed and social, with bohemian decor that suits the laid-back character of Kamala, a quieter alternative to busier Phuket hubs like Patong. Service receives frequent praise, and the overall experience tends to resonate strongly with travellers who seek out local recommendations rather than tourist-trail staples. The hilltop location is a minor inconvenience for some — arriving by scooter or taxi is worth factoring into plans. Good to know: Casa Boho opens daily from noon to 10 PM, making it a practical choice for both lunch and dinner throughout the week. The kitchen has drawn the occasional concern around food safety in isolated reviews, so those with sensitivities may wish to check recent feedback before visiting. During Phuket's peak season from November to February, arriving earlier in the evening is advisable. More information is available at casabohophuket.com.

Visitor Reviews
We spent some time talking with locals and doing research online and I'm very happy we ended up at Casa Boho. What an amazing experience, this absolutely made our trip. Service was over the top. The drinks were different from all the other places we had visited, this was a great change from the norm. They were amazingly flavorful with different twists and presentation. I really cannot say enough, don't miss out. My only wish is we were here for a lunch. I bet the view is amazing as it sits at the top of the hill.
Totally deserves the high reviews. Such a great atmosphere, service, and food. The menu and vibes are Latin. The Aroz con Marescos and pescada tacos were perfect! I’m sure that the views of the ocean during the day are stunning.
We were very impressed by this place. The view is fantastic, and the food is even better. It’s not often you find good Latin food in Asia, but this would be good Latin food anywhere. There wasn’t a miss the whole night.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
