Pinewood Massage and Spa (Cherngtalay)
Nestled inside the HomePro Cherngtalay shopping complex on Srisoonthorn Road, this well-regarded massage and spa has built a loyal following among both Phuket residents and visitors. The setting strikes an appealing balance between convenience and quality, offering a noticeably upscale, chic interior that feels removed from the busy retail environment surrounding it. Guests consistently highlight the immaculate presentation and the genuinely luxurious atmosphere as standout features. The spa offers a range of treatments including traditional Thai massage, body treatments, and facials, with multi-hour packages available for those wanting a more comprehensive wellness experience. Therapists receive strong praise by name in visitor reviews, suggesting a skilled and consistent team. The experience has resonated with honeymooners, families, and repeat visitors alike, with guests describing treatments as thorough and the overall service as professional and attentive. Practically speaking, the mall location means convenient parking and access to nearby dining and shops, making it easy to build a half-day around a visit. However, demand is high and the spa is known to fill up quickly, particularly on weekends. First-time visitors have noted difficulty securing a spot without prior arrangements, so booking in advance is strongly advised before making the trip. Visiting on a weekday is likely to offer a more relaxed experience.

Visitor Reviews
2nd visit now and WOW! Pinewood truly is my favourite Massage & Spa in Phuket. Mega professional and luxurious atmosphere. But the best part is - I was honoured to have the expertise of Pipha & Ple who were my masseuses for a 4 hand special. 👌🏽 HIGHLY RECOMMEND both to be your masseuses as they have such a high level of attentiveness and skill. Very gentle when handling the body which I greatly appreciate. The massage truly felt like they knew exactly what I needed without me saying anything. Front of house staff were lovely too - communication had been very welcoming from the beginning and I appreciate you🫶🏽. I actually came all the way up from Patong for my 2nd visit as all I could think about was how incredible my first experience was! Pinewood Team, you’ve been amazing and I will most definitely always be back! Love from the UK
We had a 3 hour package and then added a facial on at the end that i bought for me and my mum as a Christmas present and it was absolutely wonderful. The place is amazing and the staff just fabulous, you can chose the oils and pressure when you check in, and its just so calm and relaxing. The facial was perfect at the end as we had the ice depuff one so after the hot oil and compress was perfect to finish. We will definitely be back, what an amazing place at great prices.thank you
I really love this! It was an incredibly new experience. The place is excellent. The atmosphere looks very luxurious, but the price for the service is more than worth it. If you come, I highly recommend getting a massage with the masseuse named Phipa. She massages exceptionally well and is very attentive during the session. This also includes the front-of-house staff. They are cheerful, lovely, and so much fun to talk to. They are both young women. 🤍🤍🤍
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
