Private Yoga Koh Samui
Private Yoga Koh Samui offers personalised yoga sessions in one of the island's most naturally beautiful settings, with classes typically held by the ocean. The service is led by an instructor named Maksim (Max), who has built a strong reputation for his attentive, thoughtful approach to teaching. Rather than delivering a one-size-fits-all class, he adapts each session to the needs and goals of the individual or group — whether that means a dynamic practice or a gentler, stretch-focused experience.
Visitors consistently describe sessions with Max as more than just a physical workout, noting a genuine sense of mindfulness and personal connection throughout. Classes are well suited to couples, solo travellers, and small groups alike, and the oceanside setting adds a calm, unhurried atmosphere that complements the practice. The service has also proven popular as a gift experience, with at least one visitor arranging a surprise birthday session for a friend entirely through WhatsApp.
Booking is handled directly via WhatsApp, making the process straightforward and flexible. There is no fixed studio address to navigate to — Max suggests a meeting location based on the session, often somewhere near the sea. For travellers staying in the Bo Put area of northern Koh Samui, this service is particularly convenient. Given the personalised nature of the offering, booking ahead is advisable, especially during busier holiday periods.

Reviews from Google
Max is an exceptional yoga teacher who truly stands out for his skill, patience, and depth of knowledge. My wife, and I thoroughly enjoyed our session with him by the ocean. His calm demeanor and clear guidance made the experience relaxing and engaging for all of us. Max’s disciplined and sincere approach to yoga is evident, and he was generous with extra tips, help after lessons, which we greatly appreciated. His ability to create a positive and welcoming environment made the session a highlight of our time. We highly recommend Max for anyone seeking a meaningful and pleasant yoga experience. Above all Max is a sincere spiritual seeker that adds lots of depth to his yoga teachings.
We enjoyed our first private class with Maksim so much we booked extra classes throughout our 4 day stay. He is one of the most intentional and thoughtful practitioners I have ever had. He is encouraging yet challenging, adjusting to how your body feels in that moment. And most importantly, it was fun, joyful and light. I am extremely grateful our paths met for a few days. I will definitely recommend Maxim any day for yoga.
We had a wonderful private yoga session on the beach in Koh Samui. Not only was it relaxing and the perfect morning reset, Max was accommodating to our request for a more low key/ stretching yoga session, location and schedule. Highly recommend adding this to your trip.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
