Tikibox Bar
Tikibox Bar brings a fun, tiki-themed atmosphere to the Bo Put area of Koh Samui, drawing a loyal crowd of both locals and visitors with its well-crafted cocktail menu and relaxed, sociable setting. The bar leans into its tiki identity with playful decor and a vibe that feels distinct from the more generic beach bars scattered across the island. Beyond drinks, the kitchen turns out food that earns genuine praise from visitors, with the buffalo burger standing out as a crowd favourite. The cocktail menu is a particular strength here, with staff willing to customise drinks to personal taste. Happy hour offers solid value for mid-range pricing, making it an easy choice for an afternoon session that stretches into the evening. The atmosphere is consistently described as relaxed and friendly, suiting couples, small groups, and solo travellers equally well. It works just as well for a quiet afternoon drink as it does for a proper night out. One practical note for non-smokers: smoking is permitted inside the venue, so it is worth keeping that in mind when choosing a seat. Bo Put is generally quieter than Koh Samui's busier nightlife strips like Chaweng or Lamai, which suits those after a more laid-back evening. Arriving during happy hour in the late afternoon is a good way to settle in before the bar gets busier later in the night.

Lovely Tiki bar with great vibes! We had a wonderful time at this very nice and friendly Tiki bar. The atmosphere was super relaxed, the whole place has great vibes, and the service was excellent. Special thanks to our waiter Toni and our waitress Bella – both incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. We’ll definitely come back! 🌴🍹
Been here a few times. They do a great range of cocktails, and you can ask to have them made how you like. Happy hour prices are great value. Service is great, and I had a few late afternoon cocktails it was kinda quiet but I imagine it gets very busy in the evenings. Well worth a visit 👍🏻

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
