Baan Thaï Beauty

4.7(394 reviews)

Baan Thaï Beauty is a beauty salon and wellness studio in the Bo Phut area of Koh Samui, offering a broad range of treatments including massage therapy, facials, nail services, and pedicures. Visitors consistently highlight the cleanliness of the space, its calm and welcoming atmosphere, and the professionalism of the staff — qualities that set it apart from the many competing options on the island. The salon appeals to travellers looking for more than a basic spa stop. Reviewers describe the environment as chic and harmonious, with attentive touches such as complimentary water that add a sense of small luxury to each visit. Nail services in particular receive strong praise, with guests noting the thoroughness and precision of treatments. Prices are noted to be somewhat higher than budget options in the Chaweng area, but visitors generally feel the quality justifies the difference. Good to know: Baan Thaï Beauty does not currently list opening hours or booking information online, so it is worth contacting the salon directly or asking your hotel to help arrange an appointment before visiting, especially during peak season between December and February when demand across the island is highest. Those visiting during the shoulder months of March to May or September to November may find it easier to secure a preferred time slot.

Visitor Reviews

This Massage Studio in Koh Samui is, in my opinion, the best massage studio on the entire island. From the moment you walk in, you notice the cleanliness and the calm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly, highly skilled, and always attentive to individual wishes. Before the massage begins, your feet are washed – a small but very pleasant ritual. A one-hour foot massage costs 300 Baht per Person, we come as two. (around €8 per Person), which is simply unbeatable for the quality you get. The atmosphere is perfectly designed for relaxation: soft, soothing music, a gentle fragrance in the air, and complete silence – no unnecessary talking, which makes it even easier to unwind. The reclining chairs are very comfortable, so you can relax right away. Free Wi-Fi is available if you need it, but honestly, this is the perfect place to switch off and enjoy being offline for a while. At the end, each guest receives a complimentary bottle of water, a thoughtful gesture that rounds off the experience perfectly. I also really appreciate the professional dress code of the masseuses, which adds to the overall sense of professionalism and harmony. All in all, this is a place where you instantly feel at ease, can let go of all stress, and simply enjoy the moment. For me, an absolute top recommendation in Koh Samui!

One of the best Massage parlor in Koh Samui and probably in all Thailand. The prices are may be a bit higher than in most of the other ones in Chaweng but you get much more for it and the difference is definitely worth it. The place is spotless clean, the beds and armchairs for foot massage are new and comfortable, the attendants nice and professional, the atmosphere so quiet and relaxing. In itself it would be a sufficient reason to come back to Ko Samui ! Thank you!

Great service, very professional. I just wanted my toes painted, was like $15 Australian, they did alot to my nails, cut, filed etc, so many layers of nail paint etc, I was impressed!! They have so many services they do, all air conditioned and friendly staff

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas

Learn Wat Pho First

Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.

Communicate Pressure Preferences

Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.

Book Longer Sessions

A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
