Baan Thaï Beauty

4.7(471 reviews)

Pay a bit more, get a lot more. That's the trade here, and by most accounts it's worth it. Reviewers who've worked their way through the cheaper shops around Chaweng keep coming back to this one for the spotless rooms, the new foot-massage armchairs, the air con and the quiet. One reports 300 baht for an hour of foot massage, which is hardly steep for what you get.

The nail work draws the loudest praise. Gel colour, pedicures, the full cut-and-file routine done slowly rather than rushed through. Facials and body massage are on the menu too. Small rituals lift it: your feet are washed before a massage starts, and a bottle of water arrives without asking. If you want a fast, cheap 200-baht foot rub on the way to dinner, this isn't that. If you want somewhere calm where the staff actually listen to what you want, it is.

It's in the Bo Phut area, handy if you're staying around Fisherman's Village or Bang Rak.

Reviews from Google

This Massage Studio in Koh Samui is, in my opinion, the best massage studio on the entire island. From the moment you walk in, you notice the cleanliness and the calm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly, highly skilled, and always attentive to individual wishes. Before the massage begins, your feet are washed – a small but very pleasant ritual. A one-hour foot massage costs 300 Baht per Person, we come as two. (around €8 per Person), which is simply unbeatable for the quality you get. The atmosphere is perfectly designed for relaxation: soft, soothing music, a gentle fragrance in the air, and complete silence – no unnecessary talking, which makes it even easier to unwind. The reclining chairs are very comfortable, so you can relax right away. Free Wi-Fi is available if you need it, but honestly, this is the perfect place to switch off and enjoy being offline for a while. At the end, each guest receives a complimentary bottle of water, a thoughtful gesture that rounds off the experience perfectly. I also really appreciate the professional dress code of the masseuses, which adds to the overall sense of professionalism and harmony. All in all, this is a place where you instantly feel at ease, can let go of all stress, and simply enjoy the moment. For me, an absolute top recommendation in Koh Samui!

Great service, very professional. I just wanted my toes painted, was like $15 Australian, they did alot to my nails, cut, filed etc, so many layers of nail paint etc, I was impressed!! They have so many services they do, all air conditioned and friendly staff

Perfect experience ! I really recommand. They are really good on nails, facial and massage. I came for twice and I will come back tomorrow also to try foot pedicure. I really like the salon, it’s chic and clean !

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas

Learn Wat Pho First

Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.

Communicate Pressure Preferences

Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.

Book Longer Sessions

A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
