8LEMENTS SPA
Nestled within the acclaimed Garrya Tongsai Bay resort on Koh Samui, 8Lements Spa offers a refined wellness experience in a beautifully landscaped setting. The spa is known for its thoughtful, personalised approach — staff take time at the start of each visit to understand guest preferences and any specific needs, creating a sense of genuine care that sets the tone for the entire experience. Treatments on offer include full body detox massages, deep tissue massage, head massage, and a shared onsen bath, with couples packages proving particularly popular among visitors. One well-regarded option combines a 30-minute onsen soak, a 60-minute deep tissue massage, and a 30-minute head massage — a combination that reviewers consistently describe as deeply relaxing and expertly delivered. The spa environment itself is calm and welcoming, with staff praised by name across multiple visits for their warmth and professionalism. Given that 8Lements Spa is located within a resort property, guests staying elsewhere on Koh Samui should confirm access and availability in advance, as booking ahead is advisable. This is a strong choice for couples seeking a considered, unhurried spa experience rather than a quick treatment stop.

Visitor Reviews
My partner and I enjoyed an excellent couples session, the shared Onsen bath and 90-minute massage promotion. Spa receptionist Khun Kawfang is gently welcoming, efficient, and helpful, offering a refreshing welcome drink. Environment beautiful, tranquil, restorative. Thoughtful toiletries provided. Our skilled therapists Khun Soi and Khun Fern gave us expert side-by-side massages. They worked the whole body for an hour with coconut oil, then half hour on the head. Partner didn’t care for the head massage because it sort of pulls the hair, but I enjoyed mine. Every step of the way thoughtful. A few minutes of post-massage relaxation with farewell goji berry tea and ginger candy. I took them up on offer of another discounted massage (solo) a few days later, this time with Fern focusing on the areas and firmness I specified, eith Khun Bassy an attentive manager. Simply one of the best massages I have ever had
Such a lovely place 🍃 Immediately felt welcomed walking in! Thank you to all the lovely ladies at the spa for making us feel both very relaxed and comfortable! 🌸 Myself and my partner got both massages and facials and both overall experiences were amazing! The Facial was very calming and the products used were really high quality. Thank you, Ti’e, Bad & Bassy for the amazing service we are very grateful 🙏🏼 (sorry if I spelt the names wrong) The spa really made our hotel stay even better! They do various services including scrubs, facials, massages, bath and more if you’re staying definitely check out the spa 😊
We did the couple spa package which includes 30 minutes of onsen, 60 minutes of deep tissue massage and 30 minutes of head massage. It was very relaxing and the masseurs were very on point in the areas that we stated we would like to focus on. Bassy who was our receptionist was friendly and warm. Highly recommend if you are staying in Garrya.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
