Kimpton Kitalay Samui sits right on Choeng Mon Beach on the island's northeast corner, a 138-key resort of rooms, one-bedroom suites and villas, with larger three- and four-bedroom villas sold only through direct booking. Its beachfront FishHouse restaurant is listed in the Michelin Guide for 2024 and 2025, and the rest of the dining runs from SHIO's Japanese menu and sushi bar to the Boho Thai café, a bakery and the SHADES pool bar, some of them seasonal.
The main pool is a palm-shaded Olympic-size one, with an oceanfront infinity pool by the sand, and the Kitavaree spa, a gym open around the clock and the JUNIO kids' club cover the rest. The resort is pet-friendly, up to two pets per room at no extra charge, and Choeng Mon's calm, shallow water suits small children.
The airport is about 5.5 km away, roughly 15 minutes by car, and Chaweng and Fisherman's Village are each about 15 minutes. Connecting rooms for families are sold only through direct reservations, so book those with the resort.
