Nakee Thai Massage
Tucked beside Amazon Cafe in the relaxed Choengmon area of Koh Samui, this well-regarded massage spa has built a loyal following among both holidaymakers and repeat visitors. Therapists including Rin, Toi, Nong, Arun, and Pha are frequently mentioned by name in visitor feedback, a telling sign of the personalised attention guests receive. The focus here is firmly on therapeutic outcomes — practitioners are noted for identifying and targeting specific problem areas, from chronic shoulder tension to general travel fatigue, rather than offering generic, one-size-fits-all treatments. Visitors can expect a calm, unhurried atmosphere in keeping with the quieter Choengmon neighbourhood, well removed from the island's busier tourist strips. The spa offers a range of treatments including traditional Thai massage, deep tissue work, and hot stone oil massage. Families are welcome — one reviewer visited with a seven-year-old daughter across multiple consecutive sessions, suggesting a comfortable environment for guests of varying ages. As specific opening hours are not currently listed, it is worth calling ahead or stopping by in person to confirm availability and book a preferred therapist, particularly during peak travel season. Choengmon is situated on the northeastern tip of Koh Samui, making this spa a convenient stop for those staying in or passing through that part of the island.

Visitor Reviews
Wow! What a place this is. My 7 year old daughter and I had massages 4 days running here by Pha and Nong. Nong is so in tune with her clients body and can pin point where you're experiencing tension without even telling her. She could even tell I suffered from headaches. I felt so relaxed from the aromatherapy massages and so sad I couldn't take her home to the UK. I also had a foot scrub (amazing) and a herbal compress. My daughter had foot massages from Pha and was so lovely with her. She enjoyed every second and sad we had to leave. This was the highlight of her holiday, even after seeing the elephants. Can't thank you all enough for making us as relaxed as possible for our time in Koh Samui. We will definitely return when we visit again. Thank you for looking after us so well x
This was my second time here, and it was absolutely perfect again. The first time was so amazing that I even brought a friend with me — and we both loved it. Arun is an incredible therapist. She has a very precise touch and knew exactly which areas needed attention. After my first session, she recommended that I come back for a more targeted treatment because I was very tense — so I did. My second session with Arun was just as wonderful as the first. Professional, relaxing, and genuinely healing. I’ll definitely keep coming back as long as I’m in the area. Highly recommended!
Had an amazing hot stone oil massage at Nakee Thai Massage in Choengmon. My therapist RIN was skilled and attentive, and the hot stones combined perfectly with traditional Thai techniques to melt away all my tension. The facility is spotlessly clean and peaceful, tucked away in a quieter area. Staff was friendly and professional, and they accept credit cards which made payment very convenient. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality. Left feeling completely rejuvenated. Highly recommend booking ahead during peak season—ask for RIN!
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
