House of Holistic by Melie

5.0(36 reviews)

Nestled within the residential Samui Summit Estate on Koh Samui's quieter north side, House of Holistic by Melie is a specialist wellness space led by practitioner Melie, offering sound healing sessions using singing bowls and a range of resonant instruments. The studio operates across multiple settings, bringing a sense of intention and variety to each session. Visitors consistently describe the experience as deeply relaxing and emotionally grounding. The sound vibrations from each instrument are used to help guests release physical tension, process emotion, and reconnect with themselves. Sessions are described as gentle yet powerful, with some noting specific tones that evoke sensations as soothing as rainfall. First-timers and those returning for repeat sessions alike find the atmosphere welcoming and the flow of each class smooth and unhurried. The space leans holistic rather than clinical, making it well-suited to travellers seeking something more contemplative than a traditional spa treatment. As opening hours and pricing are not publicly listed, prospective visitors are encouraged to reach out directly to confirm session availability and to book in advance, particularly during peak tourist season. Given the personalised nature of the sessions and the intimate setting, availability may be limited. The studio is located along Plai Laem Soi 6 in Bo Put, making it a reasonable reach from the north and northeast parts of the island.

Visitor Reviews

This was my first time joining a sound healing session here, and it was a deeply relaxing experience. The vibrations from each instrument helped me tune into the energy within my body and understand what it needed. The different sound frequencies created distinct sensations, and toward the end, I felt so calm that I almost drifted off to sleep — in the best way. After the session, K.Melie offered refreshing cold coconut water, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The soundproof room was peaceful and quiet, creating the perfect atmosphere for the sound bath. Thank you K.Melie for wonderful experience.

Yesterday, I experienced a one-hour journey through sound healing that allowed me to deeply reconnect with myself, I went in with an open mind and heart, ready to embrace whatever came my way. The experience took me on a journey to a place of deep calm and self-connection, reminding me of the peaceful moments I cherish. It made me thankful for every moment I take to care for myself and listen to my inner needs, I felt a slight twitch in my knee, and my hands and feet felt heavy and grounded. It was a beautiful experience. Thank you, Melie. I recommend everyone to try this

I had a very beautiful experience with her sound healing session. She also offers sound healing in different spaces, which is really nice. There was one sound that reminded me of gentle rain, and it was deeply relaxing. During the session, my head and hands felt very heavy, and I felt as if I was floating in another space. When the session ended, I felt a deep release in my body, mind, and emotions. I left feeling calm, grounded, and aligned. I truly recommend this healing experience.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas

Learn Wat Pho First

Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.

Communicate Pressure Preferences

Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.

Book Longer Sessions

A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
