Ayutthaya Home Spa & Massage อยุธยา โฮม นวดไทย & สปา
Situated on Bang Ian Road in central Ayutthaya, this dedicated massage and spa is a popular stop for travellers looking to recover between visits to the city's famous temples and ruins. Reviewers consistently highlight the quality and firmness of the treatments, with several noting it delivered exactly the pressure they had been hoping to find elsewhere in Thailand. Traditional Thai massage is the standout offering, with therapists praised for their attentiveness and ability to identify and work on problem areas without prompting. The atmosphere is clean, friendly, and unpretentious, with staff described as welcoming even when the space is busy. Treatments are well regarded for their value, with visitors reporting one-hour sessions at accessible prices. For group visits, the venue has accommodated families of four and small parties, though it is worth noting that body massage treatments require you to change into provided clothing, so plan accordingly. The spa is open every day from 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM, offering flexibility for both morning visits before the day heats up and evening wind-downs after sightseeing. Arriving earlier in the day reduces the chance of a wait, as the venue can get busy by late morning. Booking ahead via their Facebook page is advisable during peak tourist periods to secure a preferred time slot.

Visitor Reviews
This was the best back and shoulder massage we have had in Thailand so far. We are always a little worried that it might be too light, but here we were very lucky to find exactly what we wanted. An extremely good, powerful and targeted massage, which showed us that the masseuses have a lot of experience. Value for money: 12/10
Excellent service - would recommend for sure. I had to wait 5/10mins as they were busy, but was SO worth it. Excellent massage, staff very friendly and facilities very clean. I have a very stiff back and the masseuse was awesome - checked with me about the pressure and focused on sore spots. Thanks so much!
I was there around 10:30am before it got busy. I had the traditional Thai massage. The lady didn’t speak much English so didn’t tell her my left side had been tight for months. Yet she seemed to sense it and worked on the knotted area. It felt good. The pressure was firm.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
