Wow! Just wow! The service of this restaurant is spectacular! We went there to cap off our honeymoon in Thailand and it was a very good decision. We didn’t stay at the Banyan Hotel but they allow outside guests to dine. The moment you arrive at the hotel compound you already feel very special. Their staff is super attentive and tailors fit their service to you. They have a very pleasant service flow that we never experienced in any other restaurant. The treats don’t seem to end! Special hand wash, cold towels, amuse Boucher, complimentary dessert! And the view is amazing! We arrived at 6PM when the sun was still about to set and you could see the color of the sky change from blue to orange to purple. They also provide mosquito repellant oils for people who wish to dine outside. Some couples can also reserve the bird's nest tables but do it in advance as it is always full!
We had an unforgettable experience at Saffron on our honeymoon! From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make our dinner extra special. Every detail felt thoughtful and personal, and it truly made our celebration one we’ll always remember. A huge thank you to Kade, Noogie, Rio, Ann, and Mo for their incredible hospitality. They were so accommodating, kind, and genuinely made us feel like VIPs. The atmosphere, food, and service were all top-notch. We can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!
I had the chance to celebrate my birthday here, and I must say it was perfect. A beautiful place, excellent staff, delicious food everything was absolutely top-notch, and I will definitely be recommending it!

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
