May&Mark Restaurant
Situated on Maharaj Road Soi 10 in the Paknam district of Krabi town, this casual cafe-restaurant draws a consistent crowd of travellers and locals looking for a relaxed spot to eat throughout the day. The menu spans breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with coffee and baked goods among the highlights that have kept repeat visitors coming back. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are noted for their friendliness, and the kitchen covers a range of dishes including stir fries and curries. Notably, the menu includes allergen information, making it a practical choice for those with dietary requirements such as gluten intolerance. That said, the experience can be inconsistent. Some visitors report slow service during busy periods, and a handful of reviewers have been disappointed by food quality. Those looking for vegan options across the menu may also find the current selection limited. The restaurant is better suited to travellers who are already in Krabi town rather than those making a special trip from beachfront areas like Ao Nang. Good to know: May and Mark keeps the same hours every day of the week, opening at 8:00 AM and closing at 9:00 PM, which makes planning straightforward. Arriving outside of peak meal times may help avoid longer waits during busy periods. Check the Facebook page for the most current menu details or to contact the restaurant directly before visiting.

Visitor Reviews
The coffee and staff are amazing! There’s a lovely atmosphere to the restaurant and everyone was very kind. Notably, the menu lists allergens which is great for gluten free requirements.
In general this cafe is a great experience. I was there yesterday and it was great. So i thought lets go there again this morning. I am waiting now over 50 minutes for my food. I mean yes its full, but come on guys, its only a porridge. Their coffee is made freshly and therefore well worth the price they put on it. Giving one star less for motivation to speed up.
First came here 3 years ago for the coffee and cake which was great back then. Returned today for lunch, and I would like to see more vegan options on the menu, especially for the stir fries and curries. Broiler chickens in thailand have an awful life and are slaughtered, whereas tofu feels no pain. Please also play more chilled music.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
