May&Mark Restaurant
Tucked along Maharaj Road Soi 10 in the Paknam area of Krabi town, this relaxed cafe-restaurant draws a steady mix of travellers and locals throughout the day. The menu runs from breakfast through to dinner, with coffee and baked goods among the most consistently praised offerings. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, and staff are frequently noted for their friendliness. A practical detail that sets it apart: the menu includes allergen information, making it a more comfortable choice for those managing gluten intolerance or other dietary requirements. Visitors should go in with balanced expectations. While many enjoy the food and overall experience, reviews are mixed, with some reporting slow service during busy periods and occasional disappointment with food quality. Those seeking a broad range of vegan options, particularly across stir fries and curries, may find the current menu limited. This restaurant suits travellers already based in Krabi town rather than those considering a dedicated trip from Ao Nang or other beachfront areas. Good to know: May and Mark is open every day of the week from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, which makes it easy to plan around. Visiting outside of peak breakfast and lunch hours is advisable for those who want to avoid potential waits during busy periods. The Facebook page is the best place to check for current menu details or to get in touch with the restaurant directly before visiting.

Visitor Reviews
The coffee and staff are amazing! There’s a lovely atmosphere to the restaurant and everyone was very kind. Notably, the menu lists allergens which is great for gluten free requirements.
In general this cafe is a great experience. I was there yesterday and it was great. So i thought lets go there again this morning. I am waiting now over 50 minutes for my food. I mean yes its full, but come on guys, its only a porridge. Their coffee is made freshly and therefore well worth the price they put on it. Giving one star less for motivation to speed up.
First came here 3 years ago for the coffee and cake which was great back then. Returned today for lunch, and I would like to see more vegan options on the menu, especially for the stir fries and curries. Broiler chickens in thailand have an awful life and are slaughtered, whereas tofu feels no pain. Please also play more chilled music.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
