I can highly recommend the 7 island tour: great spots and beaches, wonderful reefs for snorkelling, good food and a nice guide. The tour is starting in the early afternoon which is nice due to the less intense sunlight. And the sunset is awesome too. My personal highlight was the illuminating plankton. When moving in the water it looks like sparkling stars. Some people here are complaining about the 4 island tour. Actually it is carried out by another agency. The 7 island tour is done by Happy Krabi tour and is worth the price.
