Oysters are the whole point here, and the range is the reason people keep coming back. Imported breeds from several origins, rotating with whatever landed that day, served chilled with a spread of toppings from the plain to the inventive. If you don't know your varieties, say so. Reviewers keep mentioning servers who talk them through the list, point out the standouts, and even explain how to check an oyster for freshness, all without any snobbery about it.
Beyond the shellfish there's more seafood, wine, and a cocktail list with a bit of theater to it. The smoked Scotch gets made at your table. Scallop crudo, lobster tail soup and the flathead lobster all get named in reviews, and there's black bread and butter to start. It sits right on the road at Lamai rather than tucked away on the sand, which some people love for the passing life outside and others won't. Dress is relaxed, but the feel is a notch smarter than a beach shack.

2nd time here after many years. My absolute favourite place in Samui! No Gillardeau but so many interesting breeds of imported oysters, which is perfect. I already have my favourite fresh Gillardeau place in Bangkok, thus having something very different here is a must. Staff taught me the way to check oyster freshness as well. Scallop crudo is so refreshing! Lobster tail soup as well. The flathead lobster too had a distinct taste. While I was doubtful about the cream pasta dad ordered, it way surpassed my expectations! Not the bland kind but fresh with distinct herbal taste. My father even commented that the sauce would even accompany beef steaks very well.
The service was phenomenal and great attention to detail. I never had a smoky Scotch. The bartender brought it over and showed us how it was done. The staff were very informative about the different oysters. The atmosphere was fun and we were right on the road, high class experience but not missing the rest of the action. The oysters are a must if you are in the area. Make sure to bring your bestie. :)
Easily one of the best oyster spots I’ve been to. Amazing variety and extremely fresh. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and pointed us to some of the best oysters on the menu. Highly recommend if you’re an oyster lover.
