Visitor Reviews

Fantastic sports bar run by Dave who is a great host. All sports shown live. Decent drink prices and lovely staff. The food is the stand out feature of this place, delicious Thai and western food served with very generous portions. The fried chicken is great and the English breakfast is the best that I have tried in Thailand. The sausages and bacon are awesome. Do yourself a favour and get a Panang or Massaman curry with a serve of hot chips instead of rice. Dipping delights, with the chips in the curry sauce! Spotless toilets and decent pool tables also. Definitely worth a visit or 5. Free dinner snacks on Tuesday nights, awesome.

Had a lovely Christmas dinner with friends. Two of us opted for prawn cocktail starter with chicken as our main …one of us had the main course with chicken. A choice of dessert was available. All the food was delicious the mains were served carvery style with plenty of vegetables roasties yorkshire puds gravy stuffing & sauces available.Nan Dave & their great staff worked hard to make our Christmas Day a merry one ….thankyou all 🥰

Great spot. Dave the owner is great, staff is fun. They are working on being open for USA sports on tv, which means they need to have someone to open at 0600. If you ask them, they might accommodate, just ask. Also, the menu is customizable, so feel free to ask for a little customization to your meal.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food

Learn the Spice Scale

Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.

Follow the Crowds

The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.

Ice Is Safe

Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
