El Toro Loco Live Band (Hua Hin)
This open-air, undercover bar on Soi 94 has carved out a distinct niche in Hua Hin's nightlife with its live rock and metal band performances. Rather than the typical beach bar soundtrack, the venue leans firmly into classic rock territory, with the house band covering everything from 1960s Beatles through to Iron Maiden and beyond. The guitarist in particular draws consistent praise from visitors, and is known to take personal song requests and meet guests after performances, giving the evening a more intimate feel than a standard live music venue. Beyond the music, El Toro Loco serves both Thai and Mexican-themed food, and the kitchen has received strong feedback from visitors on nights when full dining service is available. The large open-air space creates a relaxed, sociable atmosphere that suits groups and solo travellers alike, and the cocktail selection earns regular mentions in visitor feedback. Good to know: the live band typically starts at 8:30pm, making this an evening-only destination. Some visitors have reported inconsistency with the food menu, particularly on busier nights when a buffet format may replace the standard kitchen service. If a full sit-down meal is part of the plan, it is worth confirming dining arrangements before arrival. Given the venue has no listed website, checking locally or asking your hotel concierge for current schedule information is the most reliable approach before heading out.

Visitor Reviews
Awesome undercover open air style rock and metal bar which also serves Thai and Mexican themed food. The live band starts at 830pm and is unreal. They play everything from the Beatles to Iron Maiden. Talented, passionate musos who play hard even if the crowd is small on midweek nights We didn't try the food, however; they do have alcohol spirit sets for great value.(see last pic) Friday and Saturday nights are busy with a fantastic atmosphere.
Absolutely loved this spot! The Mexican and Thai dishes were both fantastic so delicious . The large open area had a great vibe, especially with the enjoyable live rock music. Highly recommend!
Great rock and roll! ! Guitarist is superb and meets customers personally after the concert You can ask also make personal petitions and he'll play it :) Thank you, it was a great night!
Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
