Hua Hin Onsen & Spa
Tucked away off Soi Phoem Sap in Hua Hin, this compact wellness retreat offers a genuine onsen-style bathing experience combined with traditional spa treatments. The facility features a sauna, hammam, hot tub, cold plunge pool, and a steam room, making it a well-rounded destination for those seeking relaxation and recovery. Visitors who have explored onsen venues across Thailand frequently highlight this one as standing out for the quality of its treatments and the peacefulness of its atmosphere. The space is small but thoughtfully arranged, with a calm, unhurried ambience that sets it apart from larger commercial spas. Guests are welcomed with water and provided with towels upon arrival, and the massage therapists are noted for their skill and thoroughness. The combination of heat, steam, and cold water facilities lends itself well to a longer visit, and the overall value for money is a recurring theme among satisfied visitors. Hua Hin Onsen & Spa is open every day of the week from 09:00 to 21:00, which makes it easy to fit into most travel itineraries. Given its modest size, visiting earlier in the day or on a weekday is advisable to avoid potential crowding. Those interested in booking or checking current offerings can find up-to-date information via the venue's Facebook page. Comfortable swimwear suitable for wet facilities is recommended for those planning to use the bathing areas alongside any massage treatments.

Visitor Reviews
I must say that our visit here exceeded our expectations. Over the last 2 months as we've traveled around Thailand. We have visited five or six other insens si we have an idea if what to expect. The biggest difference we noticed was how quiet and peaceful it is here. Some of the sauna places get a little noisy but here the guest areas are spread out enough so that it's not noisy at all. Also, the massage lady here was much better than we expected. Mantana was very proactive, asking what hurt and dealing with each of my requests. And she was very good at it. We were also surprised by how inexpensive things were. And some of the songs we visit they give free watered down tea, but here nothing is free except you're welcome drink and the drink after the massage. But the prices are really low. 20 bahts for a bottle of water? 69 bahts for lunch? Even the massage was 300 bahts, the same prices on the street, and well worth it. As far as the facilities, the cold water tub was cold, and the sauna and steam room were perfect. The hot tub wasn't hot enough when we arrived but when we asked they cranked the heat up. We really have no complaints whatsoever. This was a good experience and we will return.
I’m happy. Sauna is lovely, gets the required heat. I would like to see the hot tub hotter, but the steam was great, the cold plunge too. My therapist was May, worked on me for 2 hours, very strong lady. She was able to work me gradually to very strong pressure. Listened to my requests, always aware of pain she might inflict too. I’ll be back.
It's a haven of peace. The atmosphere is very tranquil. Sauna, hammam, hot tub, cold plunge pool. You can get a massage there; it's very high quality. Excellent value for money. The staff are lovely😍. Enjoy! 😊

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
