HuaHin Market Village Food court
Tucked inside the Market Village shopping mall in Hua Hin, this food court draws both locals and visitors looking for a reliable, affordable meal in a comfortable, air-conditioned setting. With a long row of food stalls lining the main hall, it offers a broad spread of Thai dishes — from green curry and beef soup to rice plates and omelettes — with most meals priced in the 50 to 60 THB range and ice cream starting from just 15 THB. The atmosphere is casual and practical, well-suited to families, solo diners, and anyone wanting to eat well without spending much. Regulars tend to develop favourite stalls and return repeatedly, which speaks to the consistency of the food on offer. During busier periods, seating can be limited, so arriving outside of peak lunch hours is advisable. A useful detail for first-time visitors: while the food court operates a prepaid card system, many individual vendors also accept cash directly, so there is no strict need to load a card before ordering. The food court is open daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, making it a convenient stop for lunch or an early dinner during a day of shopping or sightseeing in Hua Hin.

Visitor Reviews
An excellent selection of local cuisine awaits you, with something to suit every taste. So far, my two favorite choices are: Beef soup (pictured, 55 THB – third item from the bottom of the menu) Chicken with rice from the stand shown in another photo (large portion for just 55 THB). To enjoy most of the food stalls, you’ll need to use a prepaid card. You can easily obtain one at the central counter in the middle of the food court, where you can load cash onto it, return it, or collect any unused balance in cash. Please note that only cash top-ups are accepted (no bank cards). Once issued, the card is valid for 30 days. Tip: While enjoying your meal, you can also create customized T-shirts, shirts, or caps on-site. The staff are exceptionally friendly and provide outstanding service.
This was my daily lunch spot. One exact place here only (in the longest wall full of food stalls, midway of it with rice+omelette+food for 50-60THB). I always ate here the amazing green curry, super spicy jungle curry or mushroom soup. The portion size is big. You can choose the food with omelette or oil fried omelette (greezy). Prices 50-60THB, which is affordable for the huge portions. They also do take away. If you are vegetarian, they can make the chiken green curry without chicken and add mushrooms. That's what I ate like 25 times 🥰 Super delicious!
Great variety of dishes! Good price! You will find there everything! Ice cream starts from 15 Baht! Great place to eat!

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
