ATV Hua Hin @ Siam Milsim

4.7(201 reviews)

This is the one to book when you've had enough of the beach and the night markets. It's an ATV outfit on the rural edge of Hua Hin, and the trails are genuinely off-road: rutted tracks, rocky sections, real climbs and drops, plus enough of a view to justify the stop for photos and water that the guides build in. The standard run is an hour with a private guide, and nobody rushes you. First-timers get a briefing and practice laps around a paddock before heading out onto the road and up into the scrub.

Two riders on one machine is allowed at no extra charge, which isn't the case everywhere in Hua Hin. Riders report paying 2,500 baht for one ATV for the hour, though I'd confirm the current rate when you book. Rain doesn't ruin it, muddy trails make it better. There's a shooting range on the same site, which teenagers in particular tend to enjoy afterwards. Expect to come back covered in dust.

Great fun! We have never ridden ATVs before. Here from Australia for short holliday, saw good reviews, thought we would try it out. 2 of us turned up, after some FB MSGs, they were prepared and waiting. We were given a briefing, and given a few laps around a paddock to practice. Then off down the street rolling our guide. Off up through the scrub we went, on varying trails, some smooth, some rocky and some quite rutted out. Giving us a good challenge and a coating of dust! The guide was great and we went at our own safe pace. Great way to kill couple of hours 👍 Reccomended.

Was much better than my friend and I expected. Insane good 60 mins! It was raining at the beginning and the trails were nice and muddy which made it exciting and fun with many great views, a 5 min rest to take some pics and drink some water. Its a definite must when visiting HuaHin.. the staff is friendly and helpful.. dont miss out. Many thanks to Siam Milsim ATV 👍

We had fun here! The ATVs themselves were of superior quality compared to some other providers. They allow two to an ATV with no quibble over prices (other places did). The hour with a private guide was good - some fun driving. Shooting afterwards was enjoyed by my son. Taking one star off as they said no card payment when I asked over messenger, so paid in cash. Then saw big ‘Visa’ ‘Mastercard’ accepted here signs at the door upon departure.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries

Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.

Book Popular Activities Online

Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.

Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning

Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
