Le Pub Hua Hin
Le Pub Hua Hin stands out in the town's relatively low-key nightlife scene as a genuine live music venue, with a resident band playing classic rock from the 70s, 80s, and 90s that regularly earns praise from visitors. The combination of live entertainment, a sociable crowd of both expats and tourists, and staff known for their warmth makes it a more animated option than most bars in the area. Beyond drinks, the venue also serves food, with the lamb dishes drawing particular mention from diners. Cocktails such as mojitos are on the menu, though opinions on execution vary. The atmosphere is casual and unpretentious, suiting solo travellers, couples, and groups equally well, and the mid-range pricing keeps it accessible for most budgets. Good to know: the live band is a core part of the experience, so arriving in the evening rather than stopping by for a daytime drink gives a truer sense of what the venue does best. Food quality has received mixed feedback in recent visits, so treating it primarily as a bar and live music spot rather than a dining destination may be the more reliable approach. As opening hours are not listed online, it is worth confirming in advance, particularly on quieter weeknights.

Visitor Reviews
Stopped for Drinks, great service super friendly staff. Should put to “Pob”, our service who danced around for me and even gave me a quick neck massage. The band was fabulous, it was a fun night. If you are in Hua Hin definitely stop by… My dad is in the photos, he likes country music but the band mostly played 70’s and 80’s songs
Live band playing contemporary and 70-90 classical rock they are good. This is my second visit. The first time l had a meal and the food and service were five star. Just had a couple of drinks last night and a smaller group of people. Le Pub seems to be a hashers favourite place. Can recommend the Long island iced tea.
Make no mistake, it was a nice lunch and the Lamb was great. The rest was very acceptable but not special. There is about 50% difference in the large lamb price from what’s on the website Thb350 to the current price Thb519. The rest of the prices were circa 15-35% more than the website prices!!
Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
