Lek Seafood
Tucked down a quiet soi off Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra near Si Lom, this long-standing neighbourhood seafood restaurant draws a loyal crowd of locals and returning visitors who come for its fresh ingredients and broad menu of Thai and Chinese-influenced seafood cooking. The setting is unpretentious and relaxed — the kind of place that looks easy to walk past but rewards those who stop in. Standout dishes include the steamed lime fish, grilled prawns, hot plate oyster with egg, fried sea bass Thai-style, and roast pork with green vegetables, with a menu wide enough to suit different tastes without straying from its roots. Service is attentive and prompt, with staff quick to attend to diners throughout the meal. Mid-range pricing makes it accessible for most travellers, and the casual atmosphere suits both solo diners and groups. The restaurant opens exclusively for dinner, operating every day of the week from 5:00pm until midnight. A practical note for visitors: popular items such as the grilled prawns can sell out on busy evenings, so arriving closer to opening time improves the chances of getting the full menu. The restaurant sits on Soi Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra 3, a short taxi ride or walk from BTS Chong Nonsi or Sala Daeng stations. Check the Facebook page for any updates before visiting.

Visitor Reviews
The food is really nice, as is the staff. I’ve been going here for years and always enjoy it. It looks unassuming as it’s just off the main road, near a 711, but it’s a really good spot for seafood.
I came here really looking forward to the grilled prawns, which I’d heard were excellent, but we arrived late and they had already sold out. I was genuinely disappointed and almost left, since that was the main thing I wanted. But given how strong the reviews were, I decided to stay—and I’m very glad I did. Everything we ordered was flavorful, clean, and absolutely delicious. I kept ordering more food, fully expecting to just try a few bites and move on, but instead I ended up completely stuffing myself. The crab in curry sauce, the prawns with roe, and the shrimp in tamarind sauce were all fantastic. I honestly just wished I had more stomach space. The food here is excellent, and I’m very happy we decided to eat here.
Delicious food from a huge menu lots of locals eating. Fresh seafood - fried sea bass Thai style was great - hot plate oyster and egg Chinese style. Great - roast pork with green vege also good Washed down with a beer Local pricing what’s not to like

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
