Skylight Phuket Rooftop & Lounge
Perched on the fifth floor above the heart of Bangla Road in Patong, Skylight Phuket Rooftop & Lounge offers a elevated alternative to the chaos of the street below. The venue draws a crowd looking for a more polished nightlife experience, with strong production values, quality lighting and sound, and a DJ lineup that leans into RnB and curated edits alongside mainstream club tracks. The views over Bangla Road and the surrounding city are a genuine highlight, giving guests the energy of Patong's most famous strip without being swallowed up by it. The atmosphere skews classy and lively rather than gritty or tourist-trap, and repeat visitors speak to its appeal — some returning more than once during the same trip. Drink prices are in line with what you'd expect from a rooftop venue in this part of Phuket, so budget accordingly. Some visitors have flagged confusion around card surcharges at the bar, so it is worth carrying cash or clarifying the payment policy with staff before ordering. A practical note for those planning a late night: a 9pm curfew has been reported on some visits, which can affect the experience when the venue is at its busiest. Checking current operating hours before heading out is advisable, as official hours are not widely listed online. The venue is located at 70/3 Bangla Road, Patong, and is most easily found by heading up from street level.

Visitor Reviews
If you're looking for a classy club with good music on Bangla road this is the one. Great views of the city, music and atmosphere are fantastic. Drink prices are to be expected. I found the bar staff a bit slow to take orders when it got busier during the night, however they were quick one they had taken your order. Staff very friendly. Overall good spot for a night out.
Fun place, I visited this club twice during my time in Phuket! Great view of Bangla street. Unfortunately the 2nd time I visited, the 9pm curfew was in effect. When it is crowded the place is super lively with a great DJ! Even when empty, the music is still good. Good service from the staff. Will definitely return on my next trip.
Awesome atmosphere - very classy and fun! It also had a fantastic view of the city around, and was removed enough to get away from the big crowds on the street! Would come here again! The prices on food, drinks, and hookah are very fair. The live entertainment brought the entire experience together!
Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
