Deep Relax Spa 1 Laguna
Tucked into the quieter Laguna neighbourhood along Thanon Bandon-Cherngtalay near Boat Avenue, this spa draws visitors seeking genuine therapeutic care rather than a rushed, tourist-facing experience. The calm, unhurried atmosphere sets it apart from spas closer to Phuket's busier resort zones, and the team of therapists is consistently praised for its attentiveness and professionalism. Popular treatments include deep tissue massage and Office Syndrome massage, with therapists routinely asking about pressure preferences and focusing on specific areas of tension before and during sessions. The spa handles group bookings well, having accommodated parties of five or more, and demonstrates a thoughtful approach to guests with particular health needs. Therapists provide clear, informed guidance on suitable treatments for pregnant visitors or those with other physical considerations, making it a practical choice for groups travelling together with varying needs. Open every day from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, the spa suits a wide range of schedules, from afternoon breaks to post-dinner wind-downs. One-hour sessions start from around THB 900, offering reasonable value by Phuket standards. Booking in advance is advisable, particularly for evening slots and during the busier tourist season between November and April. Visitors travelling from the southern parts of the island should allow extra time, as the Laguna area can take a while to reach depending on traffic conditions.

Visitor Reviews
Today I had the Office Syndrome Massage for 1 hour (THB 900) at Deep Relax Spa Cherngtalay. My therapist was Khun Eve, and she was wonderful. She asked whether I preferred mild or strong pressure and checked on me throughout the treatment to make sure I was comfortable. I work a lot in front of the computer, so this massage was exactly what I needed. Her technique and the scent of the balm really helped ease the pain. I’ve visited the spa a few times, and the experience can vary, but today’s treatment with Khun Eve was excellent. She was very polite and attentive, always apologizing and making sure everything was okay. Highly recommended.
I had an amazing experience with Pond, my massage therapist! She was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive from start to finish. Pond took the time to understand my needs and focused on the areas that needed the most care. Her technique was excellent — firm where needed but always relaxing and comfortable. I left feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. You can really tell she cares about her clients’ well-being. Highly recommend Pond if you’re looking for a truly skilled and compassionate massage therapist!
We came as a group of five and they could accommodate us. One in our group was pregnant and one was having her period, and the spa was able to gave us clear and informed recommendations on which massages to go for (this I find rare in Phuket, where many spas would just reject pregnant women outright). Sao was my masseuse and ensured I was comfortable throughout the massage, and gave the best head massage! If we had found this place earlier we would certainly be making a return trip.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
