LaLuz Rooftop and Bar Hua Hin
Book a table. That's the first thing I'd say about this place, because the top two levels don't hold many seats and turning up with a group of six on a Saturday is asking for trouble. The rooftop is the draw, on the main Phet Kasem strip, and it does the sunset thing well, though I'd temper expectations on the view itself. It's pleasant rather than spectacular.
The floor below is where I'd happily end up anyway. Reviewers describe it as something like a British club in feel, with live music kept at a level where you can still hear the person next to you, plus private karaoke rooms if that's your evening. Cocktails come up again and again as good and fairly priced for a rooftop, and the food is more than an afterthought. Small plates to share are the way to go, with the cured tuna and salmon and the red tuna tataki both getting called out.

Reviews from Google
After my birthday dinner at Flavors (same owner) we went to here for some drinks. The roof top bar was closed due to rain season but looks awesome. So we visited the bar the floor under and it was great. The design gives the feeling of a British club. They also have luxury karaoke rooms for private parties. There was live music and gratefully in a very comfortable sound level. It was easy to follow the songs and still talk with the neighbor. The prices here are very reasonable as well. It was a very nice evening!
This is a little more difficult to review. When I arrived I was asked if I had a booking. I assumed it was a walk in. However we were accommodated. The top 2 levels are the main seating areas however there are not a lot of seats and a large group may struggle if there are a few people already in. This was the only downside. The food was good and the drinks were spot on.
A rooftop bar on the main strip, learnt that they have "Hau Hin beer" in the menu but unfortunately it is out of stock 😌 the view isn't magnificent, nice tourist crowd.

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
