The band is the point here, which sets it apart from most of what's shouting at you along Bangla Road. Plenty of places on that strip use music as wallpaper while the real business happens elsewhere. This one puts the stage front and center, and the crowd turns up for it. Prices sit in the mid range, so you're paying Patong rates without the premium-club sting.
Go if you want a night built around a set list rather than a line and a cover charge. It's casual, loud and social, and it works best with a group. If you're after a quiet drink and conversation, walk somewhere else, because Bangla Road at midnight is not the place and this bar isn't either. Bands can be hit and miss anywhere on the strip, so my advice is to stand outside for a song before committing.
