Vibration
Vibration has built a reputation as the spiritual home of live music on Koh Samui, drawing musicians and music lovers alike to its stage in Bo Put. The bar is run by a hands-on owner with a genuine passion for sound, and the production quality shows — a dedicated sound engineer ensures performances land the way they should. The result is an intimate venue where the music feels authentic rather than performative. The atmosphere leans laidback and inclusive, with an interior that visitors consistently praise for its considered aesthetic and warm character. The drinks menu features craft beer, including a notable red beer, alongside cocktails at prices that lean towards the affordable end of the island's bar scene. The venue hosts a mix of live band nights and curated playlists when no act is on stage, covering a range of genres that keeps the energy varied and unpredictable. One of Vibration's more distinctive qualities is that it welcomes musicians to join in — if you play an instrument, the stage is open. Those simply looking to watch can pull up a seat and settle in at their own pace. Given the venue's popularity and the nature of live music scheduling, it is worth checking local listings or asking at your accommodation about upcoming performance nights before making the trip.

Visitor Reviews
Great place to enjoy live music with good drinks. The place does it equally good with setup and laidback ambiance. Nice place to sit and enjoy the performances; this place plays different kind of music throughout the weeks. I especially the bar's extensive beer (as well as craft beers) and liquor selections; although no taps here though. Great hang out as well as immersive spot for live music.
If you are musician or the person who needs very authentic live band performance taste, don’t hesitate to hop on the stage at vibration. Grab the cheap craft beer or great cocktails, take a seat , make friends with anybody in the bar, enjoy the live band music. Chill, drink, music and 💨. Best music venue ever in Samui.🫦
I absolutely love this place. Its my favorite on the island in terms of soul and live music . NATHAN the owner is a legened. And the SOUND ENGINEER is the best. I highly recommend this place for a good time.
Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
