Based on Bangrak Beach in Koh Samui, 100 Degrees East is a well-established water sports and tour operator specialising in guided excursions to Ang Thong National Marine Park. The company runs full-day boat tours combining snorkelling and kayaking, as well as diving trips suited to varying experience levels — including those returning to the water after a long break. Visitors consistently highlight the professionalism and warmth of the crew, noting that the team creates a genuinely relaxed and safe atmosphere on the water. Tours are described as well-organised from start to finish, with activities structured to showcase different aspects of the marine park — from underwater snorkelling among fish to kayaking through the park's distinctive coastal scenery. The operation caters to couples, solo travellers, and groups alike. Practically speaking, the office operates daily from 9am to 6pm, making it straightforward to call in, ask questions, or book in person. We had the most fantastic day out with 100 Degrees East on a snorkelling and kayaking trip to Ang Thong National Marine Park. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organised. The team’s commitment to safety was clear throughout the day, which meant we felt completely safe and really well looked after at all times. The crew were outstanding — the perfect mix of fun and genuinely caring. They created such a relaxed, happy atmosphere while still being totally professional. Having a small group made all the difference. We were so glad not to be on one of the big, crowded tours. It felt personal, unhurried, and much more special. The crew clearly know Angthong inside out — they took us to stunning spots and expertly avoided the worst of the crowds, which made the whole experience feel even more magical. The snorkelling was incredible — we saw loads of tropical fish and the water was beautifully clear. It really was suitable for all abilities too, with multiple guides taking out small groups of around four people at a time, so everyone felt comfortable and supported. We had so much fun from start to finish and would 100% recommend them. Pro tip: you cannot apply enough sunscreen to the backs of your legs when snorkelling!

This is the best quality tour operator I've ever been with, and I've used many similar operators all over the world. I took a boat tour to Ang Thong N.P. from Ko Samui for some snorkeling, kayaking, and short hikes. It was a full day with them. 10° East customer service was top notch. Every little detail was thought of and I felt like I was royalty being waited on. Excellent service and professional guides and captain. The boat only had 11 people on board, 12 is their ideal and what sets them apart from the tourist factories. These folks are all about quality of service. It's worth the tiny bit more you pay to go with these folks. 5-stars easily.

I went diving with them at Christmas 2025 in Thailand. After not diving for a long time, they created a professional and comfortable atmosphere. In my opinion, their service is truly top-notch, attentive from the moment you arrive until you leave. All services are practically perfect. Very high level of quality in terms of diving expertise, good presentation and maximum attention to the customer. A special thanks to Dominic for looking after me after more than 13 years without diving.

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars

Carry Your Passport or a Copy

Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.

Know the Closing Times

Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.

Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously

Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
