Good Life Bar
Tucked along Thanon Had Lamai in Koh Samui's Lamai Beach neighbourhood, Good Life Bar has built a loyal following among both locals and travellers looking for an unpretentious, sociable night out. The bar distinguishes itself with an unusually broad offering that goes well beyond drinks — visitors can try cannabis-infused cocktails and edibles, shoot a game of pool, grab a bite from a menu spanning European and Thai food, or even sit down with the resident tattoo artist. The staff and owners are consistently praised for their enthusiasm and knowledge, and the relaxed setup makes it easy to strike up conversations with fellow guests.
The atmosphere leans firmly toward casual and welcoming rather than slick or high-energy. Prices are noted as reasonable, and the crowd tends to be a genuine mix of curious newcomers and returning regulars who appreciate the bar's down-to-earth character. It functions as something of a one-stop social hub, where an evening can naturally stretch from a quiet drink to a full night out without ever feeling rushed.

Reviews from Google
A great bar with fantastic atmosphere, food and even better people. The staff and owners are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their product and the addition of European and Thai food will sort any of the munchies that follow. I came across this bar when they opened on my first night in Samui and spent every night of my month long stay on the island. I’ve made many friends and memories in this bar, and with the right attitude I’m sure you will too!
This bar is a vibe! Especially for the weed lovers, because the owners have everything you can imagine from edibles, weed cocktails, a tattoo artist, nice food and so on. But the best is the people I met in the bar, always a good chill place to have some good conversations.
Really nice and cozy bar with super friendly staff.. had a super good time here. Definitely worth a visit ♥️

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
