Botanika Massage - Decho
Situated on Silom Road in Bangkok's Bang Rak district, this massage and spa draws a loyal following for its range of treatments, including deep tissue massage and foot massage, delivered by attentive, professional therapists. The facility has built a strong reputation among both locals and visiting travellers looking for skilled, hands-on care in a central and accessible location. Visitors can expect a clean, well-organised environment with thoughtful touches that set the tone from arrival — reviewers highlight details such as ice water, cold towels, and a thorough foot-washing ritual before treatments begin. Therapists are noted for being careful and attentive throughout sessions, and the deep tissue work in particular is described as genuinely effective rather than superficial. The atmosphere is focused and professional, prioritising the quality of the treatment itself. Good to know: A small number of reviewers have raised concerns about inconsistent timekeeping within the premises, so it is worth keeping track of your session start time independently. As specific opening hours and advance booking information are not readily available online, contacting the establishment directly before visiting is advisable, especially during busy periods. Comfortable, loose clothing is practical for changing before and after treatments.

Visitor Reviews
Five stars for the fantastic team at Botanika! Let's break down this wonderful experience: · Clean & Professional: Flawless. I felt completely comfortable and in safe, professional hands from start to finish. · Vibe Check: The rooms are beautiful and the aroma is so soothing you'll want to bottle it for your home. · The Star of the Show: My masseuse was a wizard! I’ve never been stretched and pummeled into such a state of blissful submission. I thought I knew what a massage was, but I was wrong. This was next-level. No regrets! My body is already asking when we can book our next appointment.
Excellent service. We had a 60 minute foot massage and were served ice water with an ice cold towel to freshen up before we were lead into a room where our feet were washed mas then into another room with softened lighting and reclining chairs. Afterward we were served warm herbal teas and little cookies. Massage and the whole experience was fantastic, highly recommend!
My wife and I went for a deep tissue massage and we were really impressed with how good it was. Just be aware that it's quite deep, but for us it was exactly what we needed. We'll definitely be back when we're in Bangkok.
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
